I know the test send went to the right armory address. Until i can sync the online wallet though... the btc is as good as lost. I have tried since the bcc split, It is so slow and i have to run the DB manually or it doesnt launch at all. I was following along on another thread but the answers got super technical. wonder i anyone else is stuck forever parsing tx hashes? yes I have tried the latest versions of armory . I have it backed before the test deposit , still very frustrated.  Please help with any advice you can .

 thanks everyone

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Delete your DB and run bootstrap it with --db-type=DB_BARE.
