Any idea how many new ICO's will be launched in 2018.What will be the future of new projects.
As we can see in 2017 It's like a bubble everyday new ICO's with few pages whitepaper, just a business plan no founder details,no physical address.
I think these ICO's have good future:-

There are some horrible ICOs and some good ones. I like the ones that pay in profits, but there don't seem to be many out there in promising industries. Pinkdate is one and they are targeting the sex industry because it's an escorting app. They pay you a percentage of profit sharing every quarter. The ICO starts next month. Check out their whitepaper: https://pinkdate.is

There are too much ICO now. And too much scams. I think the main trend of 2018 will be regulation of ICO. It will be better to this sphere.

Just look for the right ones and you are not gonna regret.

Look, the new project CashBet and their new cooperation with the London football club Arsenal
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/jan/24/arsenal-seals-major-sports-first-cryptocurrency-sponsorship-deal
Their official site: https://ico.cashbet.com/
Why did they need to co-operate with Arsenal? Is it advertising?
Who do you think are their main competitors? What are their main advantages to them?
Of course! This is a win-win cooperation Smiley
This is a good cooperation, given that they are sponsors of the Arsenal - I think that this will not affect the stage of the ICO

I don't know what any of those coins are. I am just trying to invest in coins that would make me money on a single investment.

I think the most successful and attractive ICO projects come in the middle of the year or in the end. Now after crash of crypto market it takes some time to recover. Then promising project ideas will come and crypto economy begin grow with new forces. So, waiting Smiley

2018 is going to be the the golder year for ICOs. G20 result is positive. Only China has marked that icos are illegal. At the moment with the market fluctuation most of icos have dropped. But with the recovery of market, ico price will also follow it.

You want to say that they do not pay anything to Arsenal? Or are they representing each other's interests?

If they are sponsors of the Arsenal - then naturally they sponsor part of the specific costs of the team. Therefore, their advertising appears on the stadiums during the games of this team.

Any idea how many new ICO's will be launched in 2018.What will be the future of new projects.
As we can see in 2017 It's like a bubble everyday new ICO's with few pages whitepaper, just a business plan no founder details,no physical address.
If last year was conducted 902 ICO, then this year they are expected not less. However, you can already notice that the number of new ICO projects has decreased noticeably due to the fact that bitcoin and ethereum have fallen in price, which are used to buy tokens in the ICO. It became unprofitable for investors to spend their bitcoins and ethereum at such a low price. Before the fall of their rate, they could have bought as many bitcoins or ethereum as many more tokens than at that time. Therefore, the investment attractiveness of the ICO project has so far declined.
At the same time, it is expected that this year the state regulation of the ICO will begin, and France can show an example of this, where a draft law is being prepared in this regard that will protect the rights of investors. This will greatly increase the popularity and relevance of the ICO.

In order for us to have an idea of how many ICOs are going to be launched next year we will need to have a regulatory body that oversees the activities of ICOs and that is never going to happen, the only other way could be to calculate at the end of the year how many ICOs were created in this year and then with that information to try to predict how much more ICOs will be created
whether the regulatory body is formed by the institution? and who will be responsible for making the report?

Honestly I think we will not have that amount of ICOs that was in 2017 and also these ICOs will be not as good as previous were.
Of course there always will be good teams with good ideas that may change the world, but I think almost all of them are already changing it Smiley
So others are not so fast, maybe not so genious, in one word - too slow. But it will be less scam though - cause of kinda regulation.
Many sources ban fake ICOs add, so it will be much harder for them to enter the market
