I was in contact with baikal in the last days negotiating the price according to your suggestions.
Unfortunately we couldn't agree on a reasonable price which fits to your expectations.

Therefore I see my attempt as failed. Appologies for that.

I can't tell you. But I can tell you that 1500$ (my offer) was not acceptable for them. They didn't came up with a proposal.

they won't accept anything under $2600 each. I don't know why they're playing hard ball on this one. Even when I said I have a group buy ready for 10 up to 20 units, the price stays the same.

Yep! They're gonna go out of business if they don't adapt.

That's just crazy. I wouldn't even consider $1.6k, but $2.6k is so far beyond reasonable, I can't imagine them selling any at that price.

And every day they keep their stock it loses more value. Ah well...

Nope it's not a loss of value for them. I can assure you that each and every miner they have is mining for long time at least enough to cover there cost. it's just more profit in mining for them until the point these miners will be expensive to mine.

Yeah, that makes sense. But still, it seems very unlikely that whatever they are mining with the Giant+ at the moment will return $2600 before profitability goes down, so not selling at a lower price still seems like a loss to me...

Secobdly, they must be using these miners for a long time may since this April or May. So these kittens must already given them about 5x profit already.

I totally agree with you, baikal is not out of money. They use ASIC they produce like bitmain but with less invest and infra.
But they have to sell some to ... Just be patient soon or later they will sell it for 1k ...

I asked them for price and they offer me 2800$ if I take 2 unit.
