commitment
discipline
Sports.

One of which you have run well. Give the time limit to eat snack, along with the amount. Just enough. Or replace it with a healthy snack.
After which it is back on commitment to diet.

I haven't drink any soda for almost a year now and the effects are good. My tip is try not to drink any soda and drink plenty of water. Also, balance your diet and try no to overthink of what you are going to eat that will only make you crave for more.

Just don't eat the trash that was provided to your work.  Stop munching them.  Don't grab those snacks that will affect your body if you want to have a healthy balance diet.

I drink a lot of water, make a light breakfast, a hearty meal and a light supper, try not to drink alcohol and bad snacks. Also I regularly visit the gym to feel good.

The key to a healthy living and to achieve your desired figure is to have a strong motivation and to discipline yourself in exercising and eating healthy foods or diet foods.

Everyone is different - people react differently to different diets so you have to try what works for you.  Some people have allergens, some people have sensitivities, some people can't deal with nuts or seeds, etc.

In general though:

Carbs are essential but ones with a low glycemic index (break down slower) are healthier.   Squash, oats, brocolli, etc.

Get enough lean protein.  Chicken, fish, etc.

Eat healthy fats.  There is nothing wrong with certain fats.  Our body needs them.  Nuts and seeds, olive oil, coconut oil, etc

Get plenty of fiber.  Whole grains, fibrous fruits and vegetables, etc

Eat nutrient dense food.

Drink plenty of water.

Keep a healthy gut bacteria colony.  Yogurt, etc.

Eat health and stay active and you will lose weight.  Slow and steady and effective.  Starving yourself will only crash your metabolism.

I would also suggest weight training along with cardio.  Both have their place and can really kick your body into fat burning mode.

What I do is prepare my food at home and take it to work in a tupper. It's lazy to cook when you get home from work, but it's healthier than something fast ...

If you are working out and have a regular job.  You should also focusing on getting enough sleep.  I think it will help you also to stop craving unhealthy foods that's available in your workplace.  I think you are the only who can stop yourself eating those food.

Avoid sugary snacks by eating fruit. The more you resist in eating the crap snacks, the easier it becomes. Mentioned many times here already but discipline is key.

As illiki23 said before, everyone is different, and it's hard to work out which diet works best for you.

It appears though, the diet which seems to work best for most people is the Mediterranean diet consisting of lots of vegetables, unsaturated oils like olive oil fresh and fat fish (lots of omega-3), not too much meat (especially red one) and legumes (like lentils, peas or beans).

Also, unless you do lots of sports I'd recommend to reduce the amount of carbohydrates (carbs) you eat each day as they are mainly responsible for high insulin levels which prevent your organism from burning fat and furthermore damage your blood vessels. Some people favoring a life style with many carbs (A lot of bread, rice, noodles, pizza...  etc.) react with insulin resistance at one point in their life time which can results in diabetes.

So, if you sit all day in the office and you don't feel like going for a long walk or getting out for a 30-60 minutes jog after work, dumb the pizza and noodles.  Wink

And needless to say, stop the sugared drinks and sweets because they're obviously worst of all!  Roll Eyes

You cant help to eat snack when you or out.. Try to take less as much as possible. Have a tiffin of Salad with yourself if you dont have much time to cook at home. 20 minutes of exercise (Yoga, jogging anything) daily in the morning will keep you energetic and will reduce the fats.  You will feel refreshing whole day. don't plan to do it evening.. it will not give you much effect.

Drink plenty of water in day. 4 5 liters are recommended in a day.

Have less food at night ( have enough to make you feel comfortable at sleep.)

You can eat as much you can in the morning it will not effect bad. But eat some healthy things not fast food / snacks.

Have 2 eggs in your morning breakfast.

That will be a perfect routine diet for you. just try it for a month to see whats happening good with you and you can continue then. it will give you benefits very fast.

What kind of snack? I prefer less carbs more fibrous meals. I dont eat meat so i need more intake of vegetables and legumes for protein supply. Fruits from time to time but i am in to more veggies. I don't softdrinks and other sugared claimed to be juice. I drink also plenty of water. I am slim but i am strong and healthy. I do exercise too and eat less in the night.
