The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

14 7970's?  That's crazy.  How many computers, 5?  So you're eating up what, nearly 5,000 watts?  So your monthly electricity usage is probably close to $700 per month and how much in bitcoins are you pulling down at the current difficulty?  I'm guessing maybe $400 per day?  Is that close?  So actually that's not bad at all as long as the difficulty doesn't skyrocket or the price of bitcoins goes down.

Can anybody confirm what the earnings potential is per giga hash, for bitcoin?  I've read anywhere from $40 to $100 per 24 hours per giga hash.  Thanks in advance.

what is Mhash?

Mega Hash.  1,000 kilo hash = 1 mega, 1,000 mega hash = 1 Giga Hash and 1,000 Giga Hash is equal to 1 Tera Hash.

Anything over 5 giga has is considered good using GPUs as only ASIC rigs which are spendy and hard to fund can go higher than that.

1130 Mhash/s from some used GPUs off of Craigslist. Not much of an investment so far, but just feeling things out for now.

I try and keep my pissing between 550 and 650 mh/s. I've got just one ATI 7950 to play with. I upgraded from a GEforce 9600 something something. Much better.

I know it changes all the time, but let's say if you are running at 1 Gh/s - What would that accumulate in bitcoins in 24 hours?  0.1 ?
