Is there a linux wallet?
What's the problem with the wallet? No, I was just asking. Does the wallet https://github.com/HUGCoin/HUG run on linux? If possible I would like to run the node on a raspberry pi. I tried linux wallet. It works well enough. Details: LINK |

BTC Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone. |

I have been online for about 11 hours, but HUG nodes is showing OFFLINE  Which is your node? If you want to support the HUG network, you must allow inbound connections. Computers connected directly to the Internet usually don’t require any special configuration. Home connections are usually filtered by a router or modem. HUG wallet will request your router automatically configure itself to allow inbound connections to port 11111. Unfortunately many routers don’t allow automatic configuration, so you must manually configure your router. You may also need to configure your firewall to allow inbound connections to port 11111. Another way if you add "addnode=hugcoin.online" line to hug.conf file and restart the wallet because this start the outbound connections. In the future if someone answered the support questions of others then i will automatically send 200HUG to helper. go to debug window ---- > Consol Type this : addnode hugcoin.online onetry You can check your node : getpeerinfo Resolved. It's ONLINE now. Thanks dev! |

Hello Everyone! Check your node status! Your node seems OFFLINE, but you know, that your wallet is online... HUG Wallet ---> Help ----->Debug window ------> Console type this: addnode hugcoin.online onetry then you can check with this: getpeerinfo If you did, you should see here: http://hugcoin.online/nodes/ that the node is online (at least 5 minutes later) Thank you! |

The first time this error popped up i save my wallet.dat file then deleted everything in hug folder then it redownloaded the entire 2 weeks block. Is there a way to sort this error without redownloading blocks? TIA. |

A conf. the file is optional. Please save the ... appdata / roaming / hug folder.
After saving, remove this folder. The wallet rebuilds this folder. After finishing it, just copy the saved wallet.dat file where you stored your own keys on the coins.
ok, I followed this info, and my wallet started up, but now i'm like 3 weeks behind in syncro :p hope this does not take long to sync.. I also hope I received my 500 hug when I first installed the wallet |

I noticed now that I have 2 addresses in my receive window.
one is called nodeAddress.. the other one has no label... what is this?
which of the 2 is my own wallet address?

@Seeva : I still have a few questions : - I used the faucet to see if I can receive the hugs.. it works, but I only have 1 hug for the moment, so I would also like those 500 when installing the wallet this is my address: H8jeVEC2JYx5e9AUx82T6N5XDPD6yKDr1g - I encrypted my wallet but now it's locked.. Is there also need to unlock it to support the network? I can't see the lock/unlock icon like in the other similar wallets (deeponion, morningstar) - If I understood correctly from reading this thread, the NodeAddress is needed to support the network and to be able to display if you're online or not to get the online reward hugs? Thanks for coming back to me on this one. |

I hope, It will be soon! My wallet is still not syncing to the hug network it's still 3 weeks behind, I have restarted it 10 times. I deleted the block folder 10 times still it won't sync. |

@SEEva : Did I lose the 500 hugs by reinstalling my wallet?? That would be a bit dissapointing  In case I did, there is no way to recover them? And if not.. where did they go now? |
