Looks like the events turned out to be just a minor setback, we'll just have to sit tight Grin.

It was a MASSIVE setback for us, not a minor one.

We are coping and reestablishing again, so we will be back with a rock solid infrastructure AND backend system in place for our future developments in 2018.

Patience is the key,

#crysx

Well I hope 2018 can bring some nice surprises to the Sweepstake (it's broken since june...).

It will Smiley

SWEEP is not broken, only the latest TOR removal code is (in git).

A compile needs to be made from prior to the removal and it works as well as it always has.

If you don't know how to to compile from a previous commit, please ask and I will set instructions for you. It really is simple.

#crysx

Let's say it's crippled then.
And I hope for a good repurpose of this coin.

It is NOT crippled wither mate.

The code prior to the master commit in git WORKS and WORKS WELL. It just has TOR included in it which we do not want.

If you compile FROM this commit - https://github.com/chainworksindustries/sweepstakecoin/commit/2cc44248478fb5878e61df553a1ce4b0dceb11b5 - it is a fully working functional wallet that has NO issues other than the sync issues the coin had originally when we acquired it. Other than that, the code and the wallet are NOT broken, NOR crippled in any way from the above commit. If exchanges cannot understand how to compile from a particular commit level, what the hell are they doing running an exchange?

So please refrain from using words like that when they are FALSE. The master commit is damaged code, NOT the commit I have published above.

We are working on modules/projects other than the coins currently due to the importance of them. No work on coins will occur until these others are finished.

By the way, where can I find a complete list of the reworked coins you have on your hands?

The list is below of the coins we have ACQUIRED (in order of when they were acquired).

Again, reworked is NOT the word to use just yet.

- Granite (GRN)
- OzzieCoin (OZC)
- Droidz (DRZ)
- InfluxCoin (INFX)
- SweepStakeCoin (SWEEP)

It wasn't my intention to trigger a debate on what this coin is. As I repeat, I hold the team in highest respect, and I hold the coin as well (I would have lost hope a long time ago otherwise).

But to be honest, the coin isn't running at best, even if the chain is working and mining works and we are all waiting a better functioning for the sweep (and it will come, I have no doubt the team will deliver), that's all.

This was never an argument with you Smiley

I want to know HOW and in what way you believe the functionality is lacking for it to be 'better', so that we can look into what it is that you believe the issue lay. The main reason we will not be touching this coin until OZC and INFX is finished, is because it is running quite well. So unless there is a real issue with it, I would think that the coin and network is running quite well also. Unless I have missed something here Smiley

We do appreciate your faith in what we are doing, and we are actually looking at a number of things with not only SWEEP, but all the coins. We believe the potential for growth is quite large, and as such, need to devise a way to make it a viable entity.

We can guarantee only this much - we are looking at MANY ways of implementing what we want done, and this means we have a few plans on the table to get started.

Let's see how we go over the coming weeks.

Well, first of all there is the wallet problem. It's synching really slow, but we already discussed that. Until you release the new one stripped from TOR, nothing can be done about it.

Then call me old fashioned, but there is the purpose of the coin, which is not an easy task fixing it. I've heard some people I trust (about cryptocurrencies) stating that the best part of this coin, the most peculiar one, is the big prize the sweepstake is offering.
The big block will be stripped since it's causing fork like there is no tomorrow.
So, I still have hope an answer about "how are we going to use Sweepstake" will come in time but it will be a long journey.

It's just an idea I came up with: sweepstake due to its nature (some sort of "gold pot", even if in a gozzilion supply of) could be connected with cryptogambling of some sort.

Something is going on on Coinsmarkets

In what way?

For SWEEP?

#crysx

I think I noticed some "nano" pump, let's call it that way. Smiley After looong time the price jumped for a while from below 1 sat to above 2 sats. Smiley In current's long lasting mega bull market where even long time ago dead FireRoosterCoin on Cryptopia pumped this week like 1 million percent, I don't understand Sweep with an active dev stays so unnoticed. We need to get this coin to Cryptopia to make some volume on it, Coinsmarkets is shit, no volumes there, shitty platform. Now it's even offline and message is saying that they are moving to faster server due to increased load. Maybe the sweep's nano pump caused their servers to overload. Smiley

Do we need to bribe Cryptopia via this page to get the coin there? https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Paytopia

Yes, a better market is really needed. The problem (the main problem) I think it is the cost.
I've seen Galactrum's devs sending coins worth 88k dollars just to be listed.

It's very costy but ... that would make the coin burst for certain (I always hope Verge's style Grin).

I don't think paying 5 btc for a cryptopias listing should be the priority for this coin ATM Cheesy

Bah, there should be any other good exchange that is not ripping off devs with exhorbitant costs.

A better exchange would definitely make the difference for the Sweep.
