You're probably right, although that's the worst case scenario I think - difficulty would have to rise by 25% 3 times in a row (which equals to 95% increase from today). I guess we will see in a couple of days Smiley

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Yes, it seems ASICminer were busy installing hundreds of new blades Smiley
However, difficulty only doubled between 17 April (8974296) and 5 June (15605633) which is 6 weeks. Anyway, let's see what happens, I'm not keeping my hopes up but even if hashrate keeps growing by 25% each retargetting interval 60 Gh/s should make around 43 BTC by January 2014.
