The best are the one you can get + that are not overpriced. Start by doing a google search and see which one u can buy... After that we`ll see. Why wasting time recommending unavailable card?  The best are with Samsung memory, but company for the same model could use different brand. New rig might never see return on investment before a long time, easy money almost gone by now, you`re at least 4 months late.

The reason I'm asking mate is not because I need an advice on what to do but rather on how to proceed

I see lots of cards becoming available. It looks like the memory shortage is going to be over soon. The prices for RX570 now start at around $300 with immediate availability. I'd guess that 570 with $250 price tags are going to become available in a few weeks or so.

Again, the question is not about profitability.
However if anyone has any specific info on particular GPU models that he/she would like to share it would be much appreciated.

Available were? Not so many model that I could see here not even overpriced. Msi rx570 Gaming X 4G /220U$ were good. Msi Rx580 Gaming X 8g even better. Here the most easily available are the worst model you could get. Don`t see price dropping soon as some ppl still building rigs... As you seems to know what to do... then If it`s not about the profitability like you said or more precisely the Roi, why not going with Nvidia, as of now if eth continue to loose rentability (And it`s gonna continue... Dag 140 already coming.) the best coins to mine right now are some that use algo that are best with Nvidia and that`s if you don`t calculate price vs short term profit, eth won`t be worth mining forever, once eth gone what are you gonna mine? Better start thinking which coin you gonna mine, best could have low difficulty as of now and just before everybody make the switch to this coin and diff raise.Being ahead of the game is part of this game. I simply don`t see bright future for Amd Polaris for the newcoming miner that won`t be able to roi before Nvidia Volta series, for ex. what if next big mining coin could be mined 2x faster with Nvidia volta vs Amd Rx... What are you gonna do with your unpaided Rx that hash like crap on the new hot magical coin!! . I guess you`re not here to loose some money, so next time take the advice that we share with you and say: Thanks! Seriously man building multiple rigs with 0 knowledge with no advice? LOL

Good luck!!!
