LTC made its way to 0.016300000 a couple minutes ago due to the announcement. It retraced to 0.0128 and now seems to go back up . Any thoughts on the implications of segwit activation besides the price jump ? Thoughts on the new ATH ?

I'm believer in Lightning Networks and already bought few LTC a week ago. But I don't have the intention to dump it so fast.

Litecoin is a legit coin so with the developer working on that coin and moving from coinbase to that the price of LTC will go up in the longrun. The only thing that people need to really watch out for is the price of Bitcoin to the USD because that could cause the investment to have a much lower BTC price compared to what they got it for.
Since most Bitcoin exchanges have Litecoin tied to USD then the price of Litecoin for another government currency shouldn’t be that much of an issue if those long term investors decide to cash their money out.

I am also a believer in LTC and it's purpose to COEXIST ( not rival / conquer BTC ) . BUT with all the news there is some money to be made if you can sniff some highs and lows . Long term HODL is a winner in LTC

That was a little pump, The segwit announcement doesn't give a lot of the effect to the price. This makes me surprise even litecoin couldn't be got the pump at least 20 - 25 percent. The NEW ATH is very far.
So do you know how many for the litecoin price ATH at the moment? It seems impossible to be reached by litecoin.
