I have a few S7s that run GREAT at lower fan% (20-30) and thus their noise is WAY less than standard.

However, I have an autotune S9 that's running around 4,000RPM (65-70 temp) and I would love to crank it down to 3,000RPM or lower.   They live in a special air conditioned room, and the temps on the cold-side in the room are usually 20C (65F).

Is there a file I can SSH into and change manually, etc.?

Thanks for all your help!

Has been talked about many many times in the s9 thread.
In short - no. Same with changing the freq. Period. End of story.

Thank you.   I truly appreciate the response.   I was hoping for an old firmware / software hack / hardware mod / etc. but at this point, I think sound deadening is my next option.   6'x8' convoluted foam sheets for the walls = $12.00.   Cheap enough.  Smiley
