Gambling and mystic

What is mystic ? Like mystical and magical in the literal sense ? Superstitious beliefs ? I don't think k anyone besides uneducated people really believe in those. I think it's just boxes to believe in something and give us hope. Something to hold onto in hopes of success. We know it has no effect but we still believe. Perhaps it's a bit desperation ? A lucky coin or lucky socks don't really make you more likely to succeed but we believe it because it comforts us.

I do not know if the mystic has a role in the life of a gambler ,patience with believers about mystic.But for me, I don't believe in mystic especially when I gamble. I am much more believe in myself and think that I need and want to win rather than a mystic. Sometimes I believe in luck .

It's depend on what religion do you believe but for me, it's about luck and chance based on math that I've learned at school
Let say if someone able win big because a bracelet that he/she obtain from shaman , everybody will do the same , right ?

Mystic is about to bring luck to our gambling, I guess if it is possible then those gamblers would have become trillionaire by this time. I'm not hearing any gambler has become trillionaire just due to gambling. Hence I may conclude that is not a working way of making gambling profitable.

Spiritual capabilities so far has been used for doing magic but I have not come across anybody using those for making profits with gambling. If mystic are helping gamblers to bring their luck then I guess he does not need to gamble because with those capabilities he can make big profits from anywhere then why just sticking with gambling ?

LOL. I don't believe that someone can really influence the outcome of a game in your favor.  Gambling is really based on luck and no outside forces that change the outcome lets say of a dice roll. Its only in the movie that all this mystic or supernatural thing in gambling can happen. I consider this as a superstitions and we all that for a logical person to really think that his luck will change by just believing in it is wrong. Probably someone will really believe in those specially in third world or developing or even poor nation. But for far more advanced countries, Shaman and Superstitions has no place specially in gambling.

You cant generalize since there are still people who do live on 1st world countries which do still believe on this kind of beliefs you wouldnt know actually.Dont generalize on those people who do believe on chants on 3rd world countries just because on their culture and their status.Even I do have some beliefs but i didnt treat it as a major indication that would affect my luck on winning gambling but its not really bad to have these kind of beliefs just dont rely on it.

In my opinion, all this is nonsense. What does mysticism play in gambling? These are the players who come up to themselves, and then they talk about some mystical things.

You will find all types of people in the world. Some are too superstitious and some are not. It may be right for that person but may not be for other person. I know few people
who are very particular about something before they do gamble. And ensure they wear their lucky shirt, color etc in case they want to gamble. Things differ from case to case basis and so is the belief.

Most of the asian people believe this kind of things, for myself I dont really believe it, I think gambling is more about chances and luck, I dont believe charmed that can increase luck for gambling and I only play for fun, if I keep on losing then I will consider it as money that I spend for entertainment

I believe in some level of mystic but not to the extent of gambling and definitely the one where your chances of whether winning or losing is already determined by virtue of house edge which and also some other gambling sites have even conditioned their site to rip off users so in that case, how do one knows whether its mystic that is at fault, or the site.

I am never believe in anything mystique is anything else in gambling. Although there maybe some gamblers believe that mystic can be used for offline gambling, but in fact they are always losing. When they ask talisman to the paranormal to always win at gambling. while i am, prefer laugh to their losing using talisman.

Do you believe in luck? Sometimes I believe that some people are luckier than others when it comes to gambling. I've seen someone win consecutively and every draw he made was a win, also he sometimes win in lotteries and raffles. In my country, we call these kind of people as "mainit ang kamay" which means "hot hands" in english. When it comes with mystics, I don't have the same beliefs. Some people use talismans or lucky charms while they play gambling games, but really I think it all boils down to your luck and chances.

In gambling at my opinion, nothing can exceed luck especially if associated with mystical things. Because, in my environment also no one believes in mystical or less logical things. A gambler i know same as me, playing with analysis only when gambling sports.

The octopus is surely no mystic its just the animal instinct, the mystic that you are talking about its not popular in Europe and America, but in China and Hongkong there is still some believed it, some of the gambler has luck talisman and they prayed before gambling, but its just superstitious, win or not it's all depend on your luck

Well we are the highest form of specie, maybe because we're using our rational mind we've long forgotten about mystic. Personally i don't believe in it, I don't know how david blaine won the lottery in one of his magic show and some magicians that predicted random numbers.
Like what youve said its just superstitious and no one can actually predict the chain of events in the future. But sometimes dreams can really tell or can make a sign on what will happen. Coincidence or not I think we're not just good enough at this stuff because this stuffs are being replaced by mathematical formulas and science. But sometimes when things are going into confusions I always obey my hunch and sometimes it is always right.
