Post below to explain your reasoning. I'm deciding whether I want to sell most of my BCH or whether I should keep it 50/50 for both. I'm leaning on selling BCH, but maybe some people here can convince me otherwise.

I prefer BTC ,, preferably buy BTC now because the end of December bitcoin price will go up ,, for BCH he can go up but can not exceed BTC, so save your money in BTC it will greatly benefit you

There's no doubt in my mind. I view BTC more favorably. But that doesn't equate to me wanting to sell my BCH. I see Bitcoin Cash as Bitmain's fork. Some businesses also profit from the big block model (e.g. Bitpay and Coinbase...payment processors who need low fees). So, it's a corporate fork with corporate backing. That said, Bitmain and co. are willing to manipulate the price and the hash rate and they have a lot of $$ and coins. So I'm holding both, because you never know how the markets will react to these shenanigans.

We all know that Digital Currencies are very volatile so it is better if you can hold. Either way, Bitcoin Cash is being said that may hit the users because it is being developed. I prefer you hold them and be patient than being hasty, you know that is how digital currencies behave.

what is it you mean by "view more favorably"?

as a short term trading for day trading the pump and dumps, i obviously prefer bitcoin cash just as much as i prefer any other pump and dump altcoin. they can always be profitable if you are a good trader and don't get caught in emotions trying to hold them any longer than you really should.

but as a solid investment that i will hold for long term without any hesitations, i will always choose bitcoin. that is the obvious choice. i will buy earn and hold bitcoin for years to come. i have been doing it ever since it was 200-300 dollars and i am glad to say nothing has changed, i am still buying, earning and continue to hold now that it is $4000+

I voted for bitcoin Because as we know BCH is just new born baby currency and bitcoin is The father of bitcoin cash.
I know the BCH has potential to grow and increase its value in market and BCH is just one month older and see its growing rate.

I am not a fan or loyalist of Jihan Wu and Roger Ver. But right now, scaling is a big issue with Bitcoin and the core developers are not doing enough to resolve this. Today, I was trying to withdraw BTC0.008 from my Livecoin account. And know what? They were asking for a fee of BTC0.002 (around $8.50). This can't go on like this. I am tired of paying ultra-high transaction fee.

BTW, I converted my BTC to BCH in Livecoin and withdrew the coins paying a fee of just 0.001 BCH (in USD terms, it is less than one-tenth of the withdrawal fee in BTC).

I prefer BCH, because as someone below post, BCH is just a new born cryptocurrency and it has many potental. Its price change unstable like BTC, but with a wider range, means more chance to investors

I will go to btc, because as you can see bch is a new currency and anything new, is not preferable to use. You can compare it to our technology, at first it was not that good but after the years go by, its starting to get better and better. Just like the btc being the technology thats get better and bch as the technology at first.

Btc for sure. Despite all the events that took place in the past few weeks aimed at harming or ruining btc by some of the people it still stands firm and tall. Btc is still most of investors first choice. Btc has good team of devs. And above all btc has huge and strong support. For me it's btc only. I may be holding some of altcoins too but first bch isn't there in my portfolio and whatever alts it is, it's for short term only.

Me too because for me i dont even have bcc. I just had bcc during the hardfork. I have small amounts of bcc just to try it for trading. I gotta say the price of bcc has increased earlier last week and to some it up it has been the 2nd highest altcoin even just 2 weeks of its inception. I dont even fully understand its feature but now that segwit has been activated, i guess there would be some who would again be in favor of btc. BCH may have better technology but for me, i just converted the bcc to btc because its the only coin supported in my country.

Go on the thing which you can see that would able for you to make money since its your money anyway and you do really have decision on what you gonna do.I would say in my part regarding on long term investment i would really go for Bitcoin and theres no doubt on that and at the same time if you do like short term tradings i can milk out some money on trading on bitcoin cash too which would be a great thing for us as long we do know how to make money on both sides.

Without hesitation btc,the price is better, the rising is better, for the future it is better, the bcc price is still very low and the volatility is high, and I havent sure it can be used for long term investment, but there is still a room to make profit from bcc, so split your investment 80 -20 will be a great idea

I wish that were true.  BCH is basically BTC, but without as much community support.  I hope that does not change, but who knows.  I want BTC to win, but time will tell.

Well it is a past part of bitcoin, so you can say that it is an ex-part of bitcoin. It can't be say that it is a Bitcoin because Bitcoin Cash part it's way with bitcoin.
You don't support Bitcoin Cash still you're comparing it to bitcoin.

So far you are right, it seems like BCH is like the bastard son of BTC and I hope this either stays this way of both strains will grow equally in the future.
I can't decide for now what to do with my BCH so as always when in doubt - 'hodl'. Time will tell who the winner will be. Seriously I am rooting for BTC.
The original creation is always better IMO, at least if we are talking about economic properties of BTC (initial distribution etc.)

Bitcoin, no doubt. I can use BitcoinCash for just day trading but not as bitcoin. I keep my bitcoins as i believe it wont deceive me at all and i won't lose any value by holding it, but i cannot really believe BitcoinCash like that just now. Though it has gained much rise very quickly but still, I cannot compare it to bitcoin at all if i'm ask to favor one out of them.

I would pick BTC over BCH simply because Bitcoin is more suited for everyday use despite certain times transactions take some time to confirm, and  Bitcoin is readily acceptable on several online and physical stores(brick and mortar stores)

Bcash is just an altcoin how can you compare it with Bitcoin. Dogecoin and Eherium it's competitors at best  Wink
I agree Eherium is the real competition but for bitcoin cash its the battle of the real bitcoin

A coin can't sustain itself for long without a solid userbase. I would have sold my BCH coins a long time ago... but do your own research and make your own decisions.

I see that too, if BCC is the same as bitcoin then of course the price will be equal to bitcoin, but now the price has reached 0.28 btc and I think not the same as bitcoin.

Probably I choose BTC, as we all can see how strong and how BTC survived in years. Although there are alts made and forks continuously butts in, it remains positive and trusted as the most powerful cryptocurrency. While BCH, it is not yet tested by time, obstacles and other scenarios that it may encounter to prove that it is a powerful currency. If I may compare BTC and BCH to other things to be able to get to my point, is that I think BTC are like bitcoin users who started years ago who gained trust, knowledgeable and most importantly survived in this forum with the guidance of rules which I can say is very dependable. While BCH is like a newbie, starter, maybe in some cases very skilled and knowledgeable but still needs to be tested and gain trust.

Post below to explain your reasoning. I'm deciding whether I want to sell most of my BCH or whether I should keep it 50/50 for both. I'm leaning on selling BCH, but maybe some people here can convince me otherwise.
I'll choose Bitcoin rather than Bitcoin cash simply because Bitcoin has a larger community and it is older than BCC, which means the trust of most of its users are already gained. It is indeed amazing how BCC made a high demand in just a shoet period of time, but the question is, until when.

Bcash is just an altcoin how can you compare it with Bitcoin. Dogecoin and Eherium it's competitors at best  Wink
I see that too, if BCC is the same as bitcoin then of course the price will be equal to bitcoin, but now the price has reached 0.28 btc and I think not the same as bitcoin.
To compare the other altcoins like ETH and Dogecoin, the BCH have very good price. That is why he is comparing to Bitcoin. i think after Bitcoin the BCH only reached this target am i right? Becasue i did not see any other coin reached $1k. For me, BCH is the good coin to do trading.

Well, from what I can gather and understand. BCH is the altcoin, many people consider it the altcoin.

So for BTC I think it will be the main coin going foward and stay that way..

But, Ido like BCHbecause obviously very low fees, compared to high fees right now. Maybe when fees go down in a few weeks on BTC i will be happy with BTC again. But i do not have much money to pay any fee, so any 3 or 4 USD fee or higher to me is a lot of money.

I was surprised by the results of the poll so far. Almost equal number of people are supporting both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Recently, the average transaction fees has risen considerably. That may be the reason for the boost received by BCH.

Before BCH was out, i view more favorably in bitcoin/BTC than any other altcoins. I am holding BTC investment and no need to worry about FUD, it is more exciting to watch about its price wave on the previous than this year but i'm still holding my BTC until now. Now that the BCH was out, i view them both but my BCH is for trading only.

I prefer BCH, because as someone below post, BCH is just a new born cryptocurrency and it has many potental. Its price change unstable like BTC, but with a wider range, means more chance to investors

That's the main value of BCH--speculative value. It's illiquid and backers like Bitmain have an interest in seeing it gain in value. So there's a good chance that you can profit by holding it. Long term (years), I don't think it has much potential. But in the short term, there is much to be gained by holding some. I think Bitmain has a few more tricks up their sleeve.

Preferrably Bitcoin. BCH is still young, although its demand increased in just a short period of time. But still, Bitcoin has a larger community that makes its demand high and also its market value. And Bitcoin still, is the no.1 cryptocurrency. Bitcoin cash made a wonderful growth, but until when. Bitcoin gained the trust of its users, so let's assume that it will be a better investment.

The real bitcoin is the one we can use for FAST AND CHEAP transactions across the globe. Which one do you think fits the criteria?

The other is slowly and steadily drifting apart from this to become a "digital asset" or "digital gold" with no real use.

I think bitcoin is better than bch .. bitcoin is more fluctuating in terms of rising and falling prices .. different to bch .. prices are still normal and do not experience a sharp fluctuation like bitcoin. Bch is still new in the world of cryto maybe you should save it. Bch will go up in a few months .. because bch may start demand a lot .. bitcoin is also the same big votalitas and prices rise significantly this will be very profitable for you .. you should save both .. you will get many benefits

It's fine if you go with BCH but for me I'm with BTC until the end. It's funny how people shifting to this bitcoin impostor that just existed with only a few months compared to bitcoin that worked hard to establish it's name. Let them start the FUD with btc so we'll buy all their btc on the dip.

I see more favorably in bitcoin because it is tried and tested for a lot of years and it dies already a lot of times because of the market crash and different fraud that are always everywhere. Bitcoin is the strongest coin of all time and i don't think any negative things about it because i can see that in the future, bitcoin will become the most stable and strongest coin or cryptocurrency.

i think to compare bitcoin with bch is like comparing father with son. i think both have no comparison. bch have given this hype only because of bitcoin and both are very different in working. if we compare the transection time of both there is a difference of earth and sky in both. i think only etherium is something comparable to bitcoin.

Ever since I never get interest on BCH neither view it even for a second, It is because I still believed on bitcoin and it will be forever. In terms of getting profit and much more profitable it still on bitcoin, especially by next year they're projection according to the bitcoin experts bitcoin is now targeting to hit the price more than 10, 000$ it is between 12,000$ up to 13500$, isn't great if that happen.? Yeah, bitcoin Cash has earned its fame just because of Bitcoins. FAST and CHEAP transactions are just because there are very little users. I mean, if a shop has only one customer to serve, he will be immediately responded while if there is a queue of hundreds to take care of, it will take some time.

Why there is a queue on the other shop ? Because it has more good features and that shop is bitcoins.

Finally, a trenchant post. Why are the rest of the posts in this thread utterly devoid of any meaning?

Obviously user base and number of merchants accepting it makes no sense because this could easily develop for BCH - there hasn't been time yet for merchants to start using it, nor the public. But if BCH fast and low fee transactions is only because of lack of use (which makes an immediate use case for BCH over BTC, as one of the previous posters used to their advantage), then can we compare transaction fee to amount of use? Eg, if BCH has 10% of the users but only 2% of the fees, then maybe it is superior.

There are very serious delays going on with Bitcoin confirmations now. I checked the last block (482036), which was mined by BW.COM. The minimum fee required for instant confirmation was 427 Sat/Byte.

There's No Doubt Obviously BTC More Favorable Than Bitcoinn Cash. You Can See Bitcoin Is More Fluctuating In Terms Of Rising And Falling Worth But Bitcoin Cash Is Not.

Though Bitcoin Cash Is Also Profitable & Top Volume And Increasing Its Value Everyday But It Is New And Frok Of BTC,
Bitcoin Cash Can Go Top Volume But It Can Not Exceed Bitcoin.

So, Bitcoin Is More Favorable But, I Suggest, People Can Hold Both Bitcoin And Bitcoin Cash.
