I just upgraded from an Intel i3 to a Ryzen 7 1700X. Hope to be calm about upgrading my PC during the next 5 years.

Home made PC for my needs. I'm photographer and I need fast PC. I still have Mac book pro but only when I'm not at home, while apple didn't do shit in last 7 years with their Mac's in terms of performance, configuration etc.. it's not worth to buy that for home.
Intel 6700K I7 Cpu, 32GB Ram, Nvidia 1070 GPU is enough for my needs at this moment.
