There is always a small dip when Bitcoin price insanely increases. Always wait for such dip and keep on buying. I tend to hold my BTC for long term while buying more at dips as one is going on now. Never buy at pumps. Always wait for a correction even if it is small.

The flaw in that advice is:

1. The bottom of the next dip might be above the current price.
2. The dip might continue going down after you buy.

Timing the market should be left to people with super-powers. If you don't have the appropriate super-power, then don't try to time the market.

I think you should not invest in it now but earn it because, it is very expensive right now to buy one bitcoin.

Hello!

Thanks for reading this topic.

I have some money at the bank which I actually don't need. The interest rate is a joke, so I'm looking for long term investment.
BTC price is kind of high right now if you look at the charts and history. But I read a lot of topics and it looks like this doesn't matter at all.

Let's say I want to buy like 2BTC. Do you advice to do it right now or wait till when?

Thanks!!!

LOL interest rates coming from the bank will always be a joke. I would advice that you have to buy bitcoin with it's current price. After the SegWit activated it's now becoming ready for the price increase. This is a good time to buy now because if you'll wait for a longer time the price can't be lower now.
Banks are on the business of making money with someone else’s money and then giving them a very low amount of their earnings, as you can see they get all the benefits and none of the problems of investing.

They didn't give any decent roi to there depositor despite of the big earnings they've got from there money and I surely can say that bitcoin is much better since it can gave us huge ROI for staking for many months. But don't leave your balance unattended since their are so many exploits happenings everyday with btc and much better if we wil save on ledger wallets or maybe in a hardware wallet to make it more safe.
True is does not make sense to leave your money in a bank since the amount of money that you get is simply too low you can get the same profits in bitcoin in a few days if you are skillful at trading.

Just buy bitcoin right now, no need to wait longer as the price will increase over time. Bitcoin prices had dropped a few days ago from new ATH $5000 to $4000, that was an opportunity to buy cheaper coins, but if you missed it, current price still convenient.
Bitcoin is a better way to store your money compare to bank interest obviously, bitcoin could rise over 400% in this year and may continue to grow. SO, buy bitcoin now, do not store in an exchange but put it in offline wallet then wait for 2-3 years later.

I bought today and yesterday small sums of bitcoin. I still try to find a lower price. Then I'll dump all my money on it. And will hold it for long term like 5 or 6 years ahead.

The trend is likely to go up next years.

1. That will happen. People tend to buy in parts. So, they will wait for next round when the price is less. After the price reached heights in next round and then experienced a dip even if that dip is above the last price. Still people didn't buy at pump but a relatively lower price.

2. That will happen too. Nobody can certainly predict the market accurately. I just advised to not buy at pump. There is always a dip, buy then. It would be okay if dip goes longer. But atleast you saved something.

I just try to buy a lot of bitcoin now and I hold it for long time, because I just want to increase my profit. I think this fall down of bitcoin prices is happen due to they giving a chance the other users to increase their savings in bitcoin.

Its not too late to invest now. But check the btc price if it drop atleast small then invest your money I have a feeling that by september to december it will rise that we never expected. If that happened you will get high profit by investing it. But its up to you man.

better buy bitcoin now sir. Because there's a rumor that by september to december the price of bitcoin will rise I think 5000 and higher. I don't if it's real but some veteran bitcoiner predict that. But if you still confuse better to hold that money for future purpose.

I think you should not invest in it now but earn it because, it is very expensive right now to buy one bitcoin.

Earning Bitcoin at current stage will leave you with Bitcoin pennies, and that's not exactly something that will satisfy people. You personally may find it adequate enough, but that doesn't go up for the majority of the people here. If you want to properly invest in Bitcoin, then you have to put thousands of dollars on the table, because anything less than that is far too insignificant and thus not really worthwhile. On another note, if you don't have enough funds to buy one whole Bitcoin, and for you even an investment of a few hundred bucks is on the higher side, then buy yourself like 0.05-0.1BTC as start. No one forces you to buy a whole Bitcoin - Bitcoin by nature is extremely divisible. If you do that once every month, you eventually will end up with a decent number of coins.

I think for bitcoin investment do it by taking into account the value of bitcoin increment. start with a small investment value. Then calculate the profit earned back up the investment value. Smiley Smiley Smiley

if we only have small money, then we can buy bitcoin with small parts too. this is what I like from bitcoin, we don't have to buy 1 bitcoin in directly, we only need to buy what we need. after we buy bitcoin, then we only need to hold for a while and we need to make sure that the price is up then we can decide to sell our bitcoin to gain the profit.

I think if with a short investment time of course not many profits will get, try with an investment in the long term about 2-5 years of course you will be able to see the benefits obtained from the investment.

Last days were very hard and I guess not only for BTC noobs like me...
I already found out that it is important not to panic, even if you see that your BTC's are 20% less worth in a few hours time.

Probably nobody expected the 'China thing' but I'm happy to see that prices are kind of back to 'normal' again.
Still it is very hard to pick the right time to buy, but that is all part of the game.

I hope that I can see some profit at the end of the year... I won't sell at loss, that's not worth it.

Even if there are speculation that bitcoin value would still goes up this coming November I really think about not going in an investment by that month, because bitcoin is really unpredictable and the speculation is really just a speculation  that some guys brought up because they really want bitcoin to really make it big, so they can income because of the value of bitcoin,

I say that you can invest after the November event occur and Subside because of the impending Fork that is about to come.

It's not like giving a chance to another participant, but i think that the bitcoin gets impact due to the chinese news regarding the future of the ico in that place. and bitcoin already passed the correction now and this should to go up again.

You are right if you think Bitcoin can grow more in future, do not let some opinion from your friends or other traders make you cannot buy Bitcoin. Buy Bitcoin or not is your decision and this is your benefit.
