Drop loss not getting executed here, went to sleep and found myself in solid losing position thinking this bot would help with that.
I don't have idea what is going on or if I'm doing something wrong here, you definitely need to add more documentation here.
Why is my caluclated drop loss price exactly my set % but of current price, not the one I bought at. And it's just keep going down as price is going down, no execution at all.
did you set the droploss reset timer to something low (under 45mins to me) if so it will reset to the % of the current price every X amount of seconds, try making the reset longer

It looks I have general problems with selling, not only drop loss.
Whenever it tries to sell error appears, mostly that stupid one "It is not enough BTC / LTC in your account).

Are there any laste minute requests that i could implement? (beside te issues some users still have with BTCChina of course)
Don't forge the reset open order feature :-) Also...I notice that when the buy price is much higher than the sell price...the bot will still buy at the high price and that may be artificial in terms of the currency move. Buy orders placed above the Sell price but not as high as the Buy price may be preferred. I've been burned by this a few times. This is good suggestion.

You could try this: Select the "All-in" for a moment. The trade-amount will be grayed and and it will show your wallet contents. If the number shown is bigger then the number you have set you should have no problems. It it doesn`t, select a different coin position.

I've bought few cents to keep as reserve and was able to sell manually, haven't yet made a trade with my indicators so we'll see how bot will react.

I just don't understand drop loss feature. It's set up to be 98% of my buying price, yet it doesn't get executed at that price and drop-loss price on main window slides down with current price as it's base.

it is not 98% of buying price , it is 98% of price X , X gets reset to the current price every Y amount of seconds , Y is set you in the box above the percent value in the advanced settings hope this helps

BTW, my last buy on ltc was executed with help of RSI, MACD, MACD-MA and Stochastic all going green and i still haven't gone better than 2-4% losing position since then, lol. Some sucker decided to push it down with big walls since then

Hey all, been gone for a few weeks. Just checked back in with the latest version of the software and things are looking good.
Anyone have experience with the new, updated MACD-MA indicator? Does it act like the indicator on BitcoinWisdom?
I've found from experience that the market is too volatile to trade reliably at short intervals, so I'm trying to increase my timer to 15 minutes or higher. The drawback is, I need to wait several hours to build a baseline before I can activate the bot. But I guess the only way around this would be if we could utilize a backend server that proactively had all sorts of indicators and update timers available for access.
...I suspect that's not at the top end of the "to do" list.

Maybe if the drop loss activated another set off indicators that could be better. Every benchmark I've tried loses money, activates at bottom of drop etc...

Well i think you are wrong... lol. A few pages back i posted this: 1. We are working on a even better solution. A few days ago we have setup a cache server. This server is polling prices (and building a history) as we speak now. The CTF files which i have posted before where the first files produced by this server. In the future we want to integrate this server in the Simple Trade Bot. Once we implement this (if it can be trusted) your bot will start with prices pre-loaded. So trading will start directly.
BTW The charts are equal now, besides a minor difference; the exact polling moment<->prices. I've never been happy with the drop loss and sure there must be a better implementation based on rate of change or something else. Maybe if the drop loss activated another set off indicators that could be better. Every benchmark I've tried loses money, activates at bottom of drop etc...
What are your settings? It would help if you share the drop-loss settings and update interval you have set.

What are your settings? It would help if you share the drop-loss settings and update interval you have set.
I have tried many including those suggested in the software and on here. Benchmarked them all. From 90% to 99.8% reset durations from 40s to 2400s. Main difference is that I've not tried intervals more than 20sec as I cannot collect enough data to look at a benchmark without running for a long time and one window of data at higher interval may not be enough to get a good idea of current market conditions in relation to indicators. I look forward to the additions you remind us of above which will solve this and allow for deeper analysis of markets in relation to indicators. :-) Any idea why price change indicator is staying yellow once profit has been exceeded? Thanks. K

A higher update for the trade-bot will do much better. A few messages ago i have posted some CTF files. I have made them on a 5minute interval, and there is a reason why i did this. It is because a larger interval will give you better output of the indicators. They look mathematically to a larger period.
On the short range you can trade too, however there will be a lot of changes in the prices, personally i do not like them.
About the price change indicator... the price change indicator uses your last buy and sell price to calculate the difference. I am not sure, but maybe you have set a advanced setting that resets these values. This could result in the problem you have.

Thanks Stephan.
It's a bit scary to allow a drop loss to be activated after 5 or more minutes for me. Particularly after recent events. The drop loss could be activated on a rising trend after a crash causing an unnecessary loss maybe.
I've benchmarked the 300s ctf files for LTC/USD you kindly provided without any success using the drop loss. Could you suggest drop loss settings that take advantage of that crash? Everything I've tried just sells at drop loss and does nothing after it resulting in significant loss. Even buys and activates drop loss again on second dip....
I think it would make sense to be able to turn off drop loss influence over buy in advanced settings. i.e. drop loss only has an influence if coin position is bought. Thoughts people?
That might make sense with the price change indicator, but I thought last buy and sell is reset after sell...not after buy?? The bot missed a chance to sell and continue trading in LTC twice and has been idle for 24 hours now. I would want it to buy again on a dip according to my indicators but recent crashes recover quickly and drop loss is still active preventing a buy. So are we good to assume that price change indicator does not work with advanced setting to reset last buy sell price?
Is it not possible to create the ctf data from that already provided and used by the open and free charts? For example...metatrader can pull a full currency history....
Also, still think it would be useful to be able to flip the coin start position on the benchmark.
Cheers.

Each times the amount of Bitcoins will decrease. Profit there, but due to loss of Bitcoin. In my concept of profit - when sold for 1000, bought for 900, then again sold in 1100 and again bought for 1000. Or am I wrong?

Odd. That sounds like Reset Last Buy Sell after Sell Command is on, but you say it is not. Have you tried adding a price change indicator.
