Could someone explain how this is not profitable and a waste of time.

There have been masternode projects with pretty much exact same schemes as far back as 2014.

I have been mining for 24 hours at 44 mh/s with two old AMDs (rx 480s) drawing 500 watts.  collected 1 coin.

20 coins to set up a master node, or 20k.  At this rate I will maybe mine 400 coins in a year.  These GPUs are almost burnt out.

Maybe I didn't read something right.

I am speaking from a perspective of someone who has not paid off any of his 12+ GPUs yet by trying 50 different 'projects/coins'.

GPUs died and took down whole rigs with them.

Buying/paying for coins that are no ico, no premine to run a masternode does not add up.

if I had 20000 * 1 pirl = 40,000$, I would keep it and retire.  I lost my life's savings with these projects.  It's called billions of FIAT disappear in crypto based scams.

what to mine show that mining Zec with these 2 480s will generate the same amount of fiat. 110$ a month.

Have not bought 1 zec in my life, but it can pay my bills.

Did you optimize your gpu's timing strap bios? Are you undervolting your cards? Because 500 watts for 2 480's is ridiculous, I have a 6 GPU rig of 580's that have bios modified and are undervolted and i'm pulling a fluctuation of around 950-1050 watts from the wall. (5xx series draw more power than 4xx series). Also be sure that your GPU temps are limited not to run over 65 degrees celsius, if you run any card over 65 constantly - it causes major damage.

With .13 KWH I spend close to 100 a month but i'm mining around 6-8 pirl a day and it's still profitable, even if pirl dropped to $1 it will still be mildly profitable.

Are you planning to launch a telegram group?
Not yet because we need someone to animate this community. We can't setup all of them for the moment.
waiting for launching of telegram group, will greatly facilitate communication among others
hopefully can be done quickly, it doesn't seem to take a long time to animate this community

Yea you could always set it up and brand it as a 'soft launch', see how involved the community gets organically, what they want to see etc, then move to hard launch when you are ready.

Is a good way to encourage community involvement without using too much of your own time, plus can be used as a test run to see how it is used.

I read what you say. Sometimes in crypto. it's more than just your mining. It's called luck. In the past. (i have been on this forum since 2013) and at times I thought I am wasting away all the mining power with declining prices and these cryptocoins going no where. For 2 years, I waited, and finally gave up on cryptocoins and sold off my stash for like $1200. If I had kept it. When bitcoin was worth $15000. It would have been worth $5million. Imagine how much I regret not holding on to them. In the long run. Most cryptos will always give you huge returns. For simple reason: FIAT is losing it's value every year. That's all.

I have the same issue except that the transactions remain in latest transactions at the bottom of the wallet, also is there a way to cancel those transactions.  I am using the latest Nautilus wallet 0.0.2 on Windows 10 and trying to send from the wallet directly not a contract account.  I tried creating contract 2 days ago and it is still creating.

Thank you.

Will the block reward always remain 12 PIRL or will there be a reduction over time?

I only ask because of its price appreciation.

Merit me or don't.

Pirl Masternode Network - New Features - Payouts Activated!

It has been a few months since the birth of the Pirl Project, and the team would like to express our gratitude to the Community. The Pirl Community is the bedrock of support for the project, fostering original ideas, encouraging collaboration, and creating solid friendships. Most importantly, we are proud of how helpful and active the community is. These characteristics have laid a foundation for the sustained growth and expansion of the project and community in a very short time.

From the beginning, we have had a vision for Pirl to have real-world use cases; to be able to be used by everyday people, commercial entities, and even governmental institutions. We are currently pursuing an important part of reaching this goal: storage for the blockchain. We will be offering two storage types: public and private.

Thus, we are happy to introduce two new Pirl Masternodes into the Poseidon ecosystem.
The Pirl Content Masternode (public, decentralized file distribution via IPFS for the marketplace and Pirl dApps), and the Pirl Storage Masternode (private file storage featuring full encryption and decentralized redundancy).

The type of masternodes that are currently operating will now be referred to as Pirl Premium Masternodes, and will be required to run all three masternode binaries.

Poseidon is, and will continue to be, in beta testing for the foreseeable future (including all of its components such as the gateway, masternodes, marketplace, etc).
As a bonus for early masternode beta testers, we enabled a partial payment of 25% of the masternode block reward. We don’t want masternode investors to be waiting any longer than necessary for full payouts, so we will roll out full masternode rewards today at midnight tonight, February 7 CEST!
We would like to thank all of the masternode owners for their help and patience during this development phase !
While we are not out of beta testing, masternode operators deserve optimal compensation for their investment and faith in Pirl.

With initial coin offerings all the rage, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for projects with little more than a basic concept, a flashy name and some fluffy marketing and packaging has never been easier.
