Hi, I stumbled upon http://unsystem.net/, a conference organised by Amir and featuring guest speakers such as Max Keiser and Cody Wilson.

Now it looks awesome, but I'm concerned that a few twitter and google searches didn't return much about this - even though they seem to have booked a good chunk of Austria's largest conference center.

I also couldn't find much on these forums.

Does anyone know more about this?

Thank you!

Thank you - for those who can't be bothered reading the full link, here's the TL;DR:

  • genjix (Amir) posted a request on the git repo that controls the bitcoin.org site asking for his conference to be added to the official site.
  • Some people thought it was OK
  • Some people weren't so OK because somehow the conference in question has a political undertone
  • In the end the issue is closed and due to be reopened in July for review
