I don't have a gun and i am not planning to buy one because i think if it is your time it is your time to die and you can change the fate because everyone is destined to something, but actually it depends, if i have a dangerous work like investigating illegal transaction or detecting fraud i think that is the time i should stood up for my self and acquire some security which is to have a firearm.

This question mostly goes to americans (or residents of any other country where it is legal).
Do you have any firearms? For what purpose do you have it and have you ever used it?
Everyone else can discuss if people should have a right to have a gun or not.
In our country, getting firearms requires a lot of procedure. You need to get a license and pass some series of test. Which I think is good. Not everyone who has money can carry a gun. I think that psychological tests are needed, so that only who are mentally sound person can possess fire arms. |

Of coure people got to have guns, authorities want to have monopoly on application of force, let it be, but people have to have means for selfdefence. Guns dont kill people, the people kill other people.

Where I was born weapons are VERY hard to come by. No one I know has one, and never seen anyone ever got shot. Coincidence?

I do not have a gun and do not use a gun. In Vietnam, people are not allowed to use guns in the United States or in the United Kingdom. Guns are considered a forbidden weapon only to those who do the task are allowed to use. Police use guns while on duty. |

I don't agree with you. If you make the gun registration more complicated, then that will mean that people will opt for illegal guns instead of the legal ones. And the government will be no longer able to keep track of the gun users. The proliferation of illegal guns will mean a rise in the crime rate and a breakdown in the law and order situation. |
