@Digital D
Good luck on your next pick-

@miguportugal
Staking is a balance of network weight (comparison against other stakes currently performing the same action), weight (coin amount and coin maturity) *how many confirmations each coin block within your wallet has

Please see this website

https://lindacoinfaq.wordpress.com/

And scroll down to section

Staking

What is staking?

Personally speaking with every 1M Lindas @current network weight im averaging 1,000 to 1,300 daily stakes (every 24 hrs)

If you have a lower amount of coins the stake will occur it just takes longer /// say 100k Lindas may not see a stake until day 6 or 7 but that amount will be larger (*Respective of your total number of coins) given the total confirmations (time).

Hey Max, hopefully you may be able to help me out.
I've bought Linda quite a while ago, but I absolutely can not get the wallet on my pc.
I have Windows 10 64bit.
I add exclusions in my windows defender and when the download triggers my AV I click "allow".
Now I have the file on my pc, BUT when I extract the file the new extracted folder is blank.  I even have "show hidden" activated in the file explorer, not that should matter.
Any recommendations?  Thanks a lot!!

@LuckyLlama

Try the following:

1. Create Folder on Desktop called "Linda"

2. Search for "Windows Defender"

3. Click Settings, "Excluded files and locations"

Add the following locations (Replacing USERNAME with your account info/path):

C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads; C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Linda;

4. Now select "Excluded file types" | Under File extensions type .zip and click add

5. Select "Excluded processes" and add the following path C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Linda\Linda-qt.exe;

6. Click Save changes

7. Browse to URL:

https://github.com/Lindacoin/Linda/releases

8. Download "windows_qt.zip" and extract to C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Linda

9. Launch file "Linda-qt.exe"

I tested on a Windows 10 machine and everything functioned correctly

PS. As a little cleanup go back into Windows Defender and under "Excluded files and locations" remove "C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads" then under "Excluded file types" remove .zip and retain the entry under Excluded processes followed by saving changes.

Good luck- ///Max

@dahasher

A Linda community member with the handle of "felwin" already put something together and if you get stuck join us on discord and type: @felwin who can assist as needed.

There is constant trouble with Cryptopia with dozens of coins. They can't manage to keep up with the influx of new users and the maintenance of their wallets.

@Rggadi

Confirmed via LINDA Coin CEO maint. started for Linda on Cryptopia after "x" amount of new pull requests in prep for 2M masternodes, modification of the Lindas code removing false positives for wallets (IRC-Botnet false positives) and changing an anomaly that could occur when a local wallet was staking and you also tried to send coins at that same moment. Otherwise @riiiiising is right most alt coins indiscriminately can go into maint. mode under any circumstances-

Additionally another bitcointalk user account is spreading FUD about Linda Coin "quick-deal" notice the hyphen not to be confused with the original dev account of "quickdeal" who is a full member versus "Newbie".

@chigmen
Linda staff are working other exchanges now and should have another one or more added before end of Q2 2018

@jayshaa
Both wallet versions are listed and usually flagged as false positives (IRC-Trojan/Botnet) given the old school peering method most cryptos utilized before transitioning to DNS and updated their coding. If concerned the only port you need open is 33820 all others including 6667, 33821, 60032, 60020 and 28284 can be blocked if just staking (Not as a seed peer or MN however those do require different attention)

Per a recent GitHub comment by Linda Coin lead dev the soon to be released wallet will not flag as a false positive:
https://github.com/MrBitKoin/Linda/commit/63dfbd733ed404eedae632f59f626c411a056de6

Scan of both Wallet versions showing IRC elements:

i have also the wallet issue that i don't get any stake rewards although it' staking correctly.
i have started staking with 66.000 lindas on january 26th (windows wallet) but it always shows between 11 and 15 days to wait for reward but nothing happens.
i didn't get one single reward yet.
is it maybe because 66k is a too small amount?
but i have read here that i'm not the only one with this issue and that it worked better before january 21st.
so what's the problem?
ok, now i have increased my amount of lindas up to more than 300k (on feb. 5th).
the waiting time for rewards now shows only 3 days.
but until now i have not gotten one single reward.
since 10 days i am staking 300k and before that i was staking 66k for 3 weeks now.
is this still normal?
i have enough connections to other linda nodes.

i thought there are supposed to be more little rewards coming more often.

what would you think would be the average waiting time for 300k staking?
