I really hope people don't start marketing Casascius with BCH amounts included, so lame.

You have to at some point... Take a look at a Casascius 25BTC coin. Most recent sales have been between 26.5 - 27BTC. The current peel value is now over the original buy price... Personally I will peel a Cas 25 redeem whatever shitcoins I get free and then sell it peeled.

I definitely understand why people would, I'm just hoping they don't. I look at Casacius and other coins in a different way, never with the intention to peel them but rather hand them down or sell for BTC.

Premiums are going to go higher. There are more coins for sale on ebay nowadays. More people have paypal than bitcoin so there is a larger pool of potential buyers rather than just here.

On the other hand it is way more risky to sell your physical bitcoin when Paypal is involved.

Agree...The buyer has more protection than the seller..especially with loaded crypto coins

I agree
But when i see fiat buyers on ebay paying $40 for a satori coin that tells me they either have money to burn or its not an object. I cant see anyone here paying that price. So there are different markets out there.
So i guess what im trying to say is premiums here are different than other places. So a 5.5btc premium on this coin here may sound crazy but on ebay or somewhere else it may be a good deal.

Doesn't matter, very few people are going to spend $70k+ on Bitcoin (physical or not), whether it's paypal or BTC. I would argue that premiums are higher when priced in BTC and we all here are willing to spend more BTC on these coins, because we hodl.

Really? It tells me that they operate multiple ebay accounts, so that they can buy their own coin when nobody else wants it, in order to create the appearance of a market.

Go ahead and spend some time digging through completed Casascius auctions on ebay. Take a look at the bidders. They're mostly ****'d out, but there's enough info there to make it plainly obvious what's happening.

You're fuckin nuts buying OR selling a Casascius on ebay.

No longer buying/selling Casascius coins. Beware scammers.

It is not even possible to sell physical bitcoin on regular ebay where I am living. Cheesy

It is more like an insertion so that you can't bid on the items as a buyer. Instead you have to contact the person through PM.

Why would a buyer be nuts? Ebay has protection and doesnt release your payment til you leave feedback? I bought 2 halfs $2500 each and am happy as a lark. Perfect coins. I bought here also. What would your fears be as a buyer?%

Nonsense. There's a bigger market for physicals on ebay than here these days. Source? I sell there

As ever, great for buyers and totally appalling for sellers. Good luck to anyone selling on there. There's absolutely no way in hell I'd ever do it in a month of Sundays.

Casascius coins are now serious money regardless of denomination. Given EBay's hopelessness for sellers the ante has been upped to unacceptable levels. I'm amazed anyone risks it.
