Hi
Thanks for the links and very good Stak 2.1. As a beginner I managed to get it working.
Using the indeed pool. How can I see mining stats? IS there a pool address or link on pool pages on Monero.org?
That's not a pool for you buddy  Switch to another you mine to my wallet. Delete the config.txt and run XMR-STAK.exe it will guide you. Then you can tune also tune the cards like the guide says. |

What is the minimum power supply for 5 AMD RX570 card (provide with brand and gold rate if possible)? I plan to invest on mining rig but buying the components step by step. I plan to buy power supply first. I know build a complete rig will costly but I think it's worth it since many POW coin prices keep raising. Thanks.
I'll recommend something around total standart TDP of the cards. Then when you'll underpower them properly you'll be running safe and in efficient power zone. Advertized TDP for RX570 is from 120 to 225W, so until you'll get actual cards look for a 1200W PSU. |

I tried the miner - gatelessgate-0.1.3-pre6b-win64. Periodically, the cards die. Restart does not help - you just need to reboot the rig. Frequency reduction does not solve the problem. Claymore works normally at these frequencies.

network hashrate is skyrocketing past few days (35-52 GH/s = 48% increase). any ideas what's happening? people switching from mining other currencies or something more sinister!?
Miners switching mostly since xmr is more profitable than before. |

Miners switching mostly since xmr is more profitable than before. It will stabilize I think. Once the ETN get better price those profit finders will switch. |

I have a Ryzen 1600 and a 1080 ti. My hashrate with XMR-AEON-SUMO-STAK 2.1 is 1450 (880 for gpu, 570 for cpu). It would be more profitable if I could use XMR-AEON-SUMO-STAK 2.1 to mine with my CPU only, and mine another coin with another miner with my gpu. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this. Is it possible to mine with cpu only on XMR-AEON-SUMO-STAK 2.1?

hello everyone!
I'm building my first rig for mining monero. i started mining after i discovered this thread. congrats Mattthev for the tutorial. i am using XMR-STAK 2.1 Github - Official to mine whith my laptop...only to see how this works. Now i want to buy some video cards to build a rig, but i am not decided. i have to choose between 3 cards:
1. Sapphire AMD Radeon RX470 MINING QUAD UEFI 4GB (i read this one has samsung memory)
2. XFX RX 470 8GB
3. Sapphire Radeon RX 570 NITRO+ 8GB
i am pretty sure that i am going to overclock them...
Can you put them in the order starting with the best? and, if it's not to much, can you tell me what is the maximum hash rate for each one, whit standard bios and moded one?
