On May the 15th (a week ago) I made a bankwire transfer (SEPA) to my Mt.Gox account hoping to see those 5,000euros in one or two days but as for today they never show up on my wallet
this monday I opened a case with support but I only received vagues statements: "we are scanning deposits to find your transfer", "we have already escalated this to our developer and waiting for their update" (is it a software bug??)

I'm really really worried about it, am I the only unlucky guy out there or this is happening to someone else?

I'd like a word of comfort from you fellow bitcoin miners and traders.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I don't know why this have happened, but the people at MtGox are honest people but maybe a bit understaffed and "amateurish". Especially with the increased interest nowadays and trouble with dwollas etc.

You should not need to worry about the money dissappearing, but it might take a bit more time.

BitCoin is NOT a pyramid - it's a pagoda.

Never had a problem with the tranfers to Mtgox, just a few delay, sometimes 10 days on the transfer or more.

We have quite the same issue here... We transferred smaller amount, opened ticket, chatted with support, nothing happened. Now I give a shot to the bitstamp guys with a small amount, maybe the have the resources to process the bank transfers.

well I don't think so.
As I stated before, I posted here just to collect other users stories... To understand if I'm the only case or it is an Mt.Gox custom.

and at least, why not, as an advice to others. Don't you think is useful?

Your bank might have flagged your transaction and didn't send it.
Go in branch and ask for a wire confirmation. If you get a wire confirmation, send it to mtgox.

You get me wrong.
I of course already sent to Mt.Gox the full wire confirmation issued by my bank. And this happened on monday.

I'm not here to make a rant against Mt.Gox, I still believe they make a great service, but I'm worried because 5000€ went out my bank account and they did not find it yet. And this is quite weird, isn't it? We are not talking about search paper sheets in a huge archive, it is more like to query a database. Matter of seconds...

I made a 750€ SEPA deposit to Mtgox on 8.4.2013. On 12.4 I opened a support ticket since I didn't receive my funds. Mtgox asked wire confirmation as usual. Then they claimed that they would check manually their statements to find my funds. After that they claimed that they haven't received my funds and asked me to ask my bank to locate the funds. I had to pay 65€ just to have my bank locate my funds to Mtgox account in Poland and to know that my funds have been credited to Mtgox account on 9.4. Now Mtgox is still trying to find my deposit after almost 7 weeks now. You can imagine my feelings towards Mtgox right now. I hope they'll refund my 65€ with my deposit when/if they find it. I had to repeat myself to Mtgox support continuously and they asked same things repeatedly. Seems like over half of the messages from support are automated.

I'm feeling sick  Cry
How can they be still in business if the treat customers in this way? I really do not understand.
Is there anyone that had a positive experience with them?

Lesson of the day: MtGox sucks, use any other trading site from now on. BTC-E, Vircurex, Bitstamp, Bter. there are many that aren't royal crap.

Many Jr members of this forum are reporting the same, any old user with problems? The have all their accounts frozen? Too many saturation?

The same thing happened when bitcoin24 have to many accounts movements, they simply can't do as many transfers (banks ever trying to fuck BTC) until some stupid "they are stealing money" reported to police and then all accounts were frozen until the judge determine if they want to keep the money or not. Bitcoin24 were a single person company.

Be patient, I know is not easy.

I would like to know if someone get his fund on Mtgox or if this is the delay who take more than the usual 2-3 days.
For me since May 13th....

But one week earlier, it take only 4 days for me, so i think there is a problem since the beginning of May. But what Huh

I had the same problem but found out that I had made a small mistake when making the international wire transfer. In my opinion, your money are not lost but you may get a call from your own bank at some point where they tell you that the transfer did not go through. You will then have to make the transfer again with added fees. That is what happened to me.

Even though the funds have been located to Mtgox account by the bank and I provided the information to Mtgox they still claim that they can't find my funds. I don't see that they would give me any other choice than to take legal action against them. My funds have been missing next week for two months..
