New to mining, seeking help / advice

I have been in the crypto world for some months and believe the best is yet to come.
I wish to take out some of the profits I made to purchase a mining setup.
Only problem is, I am a noob when it comes to mining..

First, what type of hardware do you guys suggest (a good cost/efficient one) ?

And of course, which crypto would you suggest mining ?
