Flericoin
What is Flericoin?
Flericoin is a community driven alt coin that is yet to be released. All features that are going to be added will be from the community. This means that you can ask a feature that you want included, and if it is feasible, it will be included. If you are developer, you can create a pull request on GitHub, mentioning the feature you are trying to add, and all the files (with the line number) that you have modified. Any changes that you require to make will be told to you. The core specifications can be requested to change only until 19th September 2017. This is because if a core specification is changed, the entire blockchain will become invalid, making everyone lose their balance. The coin is scheduled to go live on 25th September 2017. The GitHub link is here - https://github.com/flericoin-project/flericoin. Anyone can create a pull request. Also, please keep in mind that the coin must be fair.
Additional Information
Specifications:-
  • Algorithm:- CryptoNight(The only specification that can't be changed, as it contributes to the fairness)
  • Block time:- 6 seconds
  • Block reward:- 0.5 XFC/block
  • Divisible up to:- 108 units
  • Money supply:- 2,100,000,000,000,000 units(= 21 million XFC)
There will be an ICO after launch, and the launch topic will be separate. It will be linked here.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
