For trading we don't need pc with high quality, but for mining, we need that. Because you only have laptop, I suggest trading not mining. You are correct. Trading is no way a passive income, on other hand I would say mining is passive income as it only requires good hardware and you are all set. While for trading along with time you need to have knowledge of when to buy when to sell what to buy what to sell.. etc.

Definitely not! Mining and trading are whole different stories. Both professions are poles apart. Trading is all about buying and selling of an asset by predicting market values whereas mining does not include any sort of buying or selling of asset. Miners confirm transactions and without them, crypto world will be doomed.

It is totally different. if someone mining Bitcoin, that means the person is using a mining device. Can use CPU, GPU, FPGA, or ASIC. if someone trading it's just buy and sell no need a lot of GPU like mining

For me it is easier for us to be trading. trading is not a big investment to get started in mining. In trading you need more knowledge on your mining need more capital so you can get a lot of bitcoin or altcoin. disadvantage in mining when the market of bitcoin falls as your mining is the same as trading in your pocket as the falling price of bitcoin is still a profit while dumping bitcoin price. but if you have a lot of money just wishing for a headache, it's really a matter of what happens in the market open or later.

trading: indeed it’s very easy and doesn’t need much fund but the profit will be a bit difficult to gain, because you need a strategy where you buy coin at a low price and you sell it back at a high price and on the other hand you have a lot of trading competitors and you also have to choose a third party that you trust for your smooth trading with no obstacle.
Mining: you need to have a GPU, an ASIC miner to have a good mining and satisfying income if you have a laptop that you normally use, maybe it will be hard to use as an altcoin mining.

No its not the same, But what they have in common is you both need to have capital to start either trading or bitcoin mining. Bitcoin mining requires electric consumption and it will really fires up your electricity bills depending on how strong your gpu but in return you gain more bitcoins. Trading needs capital and the higher your capital then same as the profit. Trading takes time to learn and its very risky, You need to think wisely on what coins your going to invest because sooner it might drop the price.
