AWS has released Elastic GPUs for Windows: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/new-ec2-elastic-gpus-for-windows/

I was wondering if this A) work, and B) if it would be cost effective. Let me know your thoughts.

Pricing: https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/elastic-gpus/pricing/

More Info: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/WindowsGuide/elastic-gpus.html

I don't think it would be profitable, because
1) ElasticGPU is some kind of network-attached GPU, so it won't work out of the box with current mining software as it's not recognized as a regular GPU
2) If I take 8GB option, $0.4/hour, so $9.6/day, no card can give you such amount of money par day, even 1080 Ti

That and im pretty sure you will get shut off right away doing any mining on amazon hardware.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

I have found this link
https://github.com/angelomilan/ethereum-guides/pull/6/files

I don't know if it is usable but it seems like they have added support for these Elastic GPUs
