Curious to hear all the crypto communities thoughts on the best ICOs coming out in the healthcare sector... People keep saying that the blockchain is going to revolutionize healthcare, but I have yet to see any big projects have a token sale yet.

Makes me think that some healthcare ICO is really going to capitalize off this and sky rocket. Anyones thoughts???

Thank you for starting good thread. I started own thread but this list all ICOs. My English not good but I am serious to discuss.

I read about Patientory, Medibond, Bowhead and Medcredits.
Right now I am very excited about Medcredits and say: Medcredits >> Patientory > Bowhead >> Medibond

Medcredits team only team with real doctors. I read about team and they come from best medical school in USA - Columbia University. They very smart idea to use telemedicine. Medcredits will use blockchain for real medical uses. Potential is very very big if successful. I watch them closely as ICO not happened yet and this is very big opportunity. I think 1000X profits in 5 year.

Patientory doing medical records but do not explain how Blockchain is good to store LARGE data. Blockchain very bad to store large data. Also patientory no doctors on team. I think patientory is first project and has money from that but it is not smart project.

Bowhead talking about personalized health but my reading is that personalized health is for DNA/genomics. They keep talking about vitamins and supplements. This is not what personalized health means. Also they make device that we don't even know if works. I think make device first and then do ICO!

Medibond look like scam. Too short white paper. Idea does not make sense. Team look like 4 developers from India who probably not doing anything.

Patientory looks still eh better one but I never have seen the useful of the health care platform based on the blockchain, I just waiting for the working product rather than give a lot of speculation about what is the best and which is better.  Cheesy all of them didn't release anything.

Patientory is one good Healthcare ICO as they start their crowdsale May 2017 and close it on June. but as of now IMO i dont really see any useful of healthcare platform except a soft copy of your healthcare information. But because of there decentralized data base, blockchain does not have a central point of failure and is better able to withstand malicious attacks.... But PTOY dont  have update regarding their smart contract, well i am waiting for it so we who buy coins can use it to pay in hospital bills. I am checking Medcredit. but for know it is what i got.

This is untrue. Patientory (PTOY) has Frenesa Hall, MD as an advisor. Patientory is a niche project that looks very promising. I believe some niche cryptocurrencies will likely survive in the long run.

We are not in the healthcare industry but are working with healthcare providers to accept our GIVE Coin (as part of our network and partner ecosystem).

An example of partners would be merchants, foundations, healthcare providers, and more.  For example:
-  Non-profit foundations such as the United Way, American Red Cross, etc.
-  Merchants that provide Dental Care, Vision Care, Chiropractic Care, etc.
-  Healthcare Providers such as Doctors, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, etc.

We envision building an ecosystem where people can send, receive, and accept the GIVE Coin to help all deserving individuals in need.

For more information, you can our website at:  http://granthero.ngo

Our ANN be found at:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2132508

PToy and Bowhead are on my list as the best healthcare tokens/ICO's so far. I haven't encountered any other coins that are promising other than these two tokens though.

Apart from small/micro apartments, we are planning to purchase and refurbish homes into private nursing homes in Asia.

From our research, there are not enough nursing homes ready to cater to growing demands here.

More details of our nursing home with actual photos, below:

I say on team. We don't ever know what an advisor will contribute. I think not much.

But primary problem with Patientory is blockchain not useful for data storage. Blockchain very slow and expensive to store large data. I read the white paper many times now but never buy PTOY. CEO to me does not understand blockchain when she speaks in interviews. She speak about privacy on blockchain...this does not make sense! I think maybe it sound cool. "Healthcare on the blockchain" but as computer scientist it is not making sense.

Blockchain useful to make consensus, to make transparency and to make trustlessness. All good projects have these uses. Blockchain BAD use is for storing large data.

The list I have so far are:

5. Patientory (PTOY)

Anything I'm missing???
i prefer patientory and bowhead.
patientory is already available in the market and has entered bittrex, its price is also quite stable. I think the patientory only takes time to go to the moon.
bowhead I like because the developer and his team are very experienced people in his field and they are very serious in this project.

I'm an investor in Patientory. I'm also in the health care field, but not in the computer science field. Let's say an MRI scans of a brain is 2 GBs worth of size. ... How do you store that on the blockchain for let's say a MD to download 'quickly' off the blockchain?

Maybe for like let's say patient file intake information, lab results, chart notes might be a couple of MB's the most, but when we're talking about Gb's, this is not good it seems.

I've heard a lot of good things about patientory. Also, ICO called ICON is building a platform for Digital ID within many industries, including healthcare. Check it out.

Plus one. I like PTOY. They are very focus on their mission. They provide weekly update and stay in tune with the community.
Easily become a billion dollar token bag in the future.

ICON has the potential to be a game-changer in the blockchain space. Their project is extremely ambitious. Read their white paper and you will realize they are trying to build a virtual world with their loopchain technology.
