In my opinion, Ethereum is a very good long term investment.

There may be smaller altcoins with bigger progression, but they are more risky.

Wow.. with that money i would definitely dump them, i could not resist to have the money physically and use it for doing real investments. But yes, if you havent dumped them yet, try to hold them until they reach $400 each one, so you could sell them at $100k, that is a pretty round number, and it is going to give you more manage on your money.

Just sell for now immediately the ETH that high amount. Because China has now banned the ICO and this will be a direct effect on the ETH because most of the ICOs uses Ethereum blockchain. Then after other Altcoin also be effected like Waves, Bitshare etc.

This is a way of diversifying which is really great since 250 eth is really a big amount and you can definitely use some portion of it on investing into promising ICO and you should really be careful on which one you would tend to invest on because not all ICO could possibly give you profits later on but well any investments do have the risk because if you wont risk you wont earn something.Some would be on HODL and some would be exchange for bitcoin. Having lots of options would be always a wise thing to do.

I think most people here will suggest that you hold instead of selling, why not consider investing in some ICO's that show signs of a unique and strong project because its such projects investors need to get good retains in a short period as compared to hodling which takes years for you to get a good profit.

I also think it's better to diversify a bit. If you have the time to do thorough research on ICO, you can make some good money there. Otherwise, some of the other top altcoins might also be good (and BTC of course).
