If you bought your Ethereum cheaper than what its the price right now then its better for you to hold it and wait for it to make another ATH. I am pretty sure that eth will pump by 2018.

I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL?
How do you think about the price of ETH end of this year.
I lost just small amount (5 ETH) because i bought the highest price.
I don`t know I hold or SELL.
Give me your opinion.
You have to mention the value of ethereum at the time you buy it in an exchange. 250 eth is a huge value  If you had negative profit its better you hold it. Ethereum has big potential and i also planning to hold my ethereum especially now that etherium value is increasing, soon it maybe reach 500 to 800$ each in a few months span |

personally thats a lot of cash, i would sell up right now, go BTG and Potcoin, potcoin is sleeping giant. I heard a new team taking over and will rebrand with a more family orientated name

Depends.
Eth is good for a long term slow gain. and is reasonably safe.
if you wanted to diversify a bit then mayb lool for some promising icos or other cyrptos. of course this is a higher risk. but with higher risk there is possibility for a hogher reward

I imagine if ethereum ends up being POS, then the price will skyrocket, hold for as long as possible because the eth graph continues to increase significantly every year, in the end all campaigns will use smart contracts and eth volumes will talk much more than today, no one doubts it. |

The price of ETH right now is very good if you need a money you can sell it and if no you can invest to other altcoin or ideas you know. Even you ETH is on hold if you invest it will grow.

ETH is the coin that can possibele do x2-x3 but other alts can do easily x5-6 so it is worth to sell 100-200 eth and buy the alts with the potential ( from yours point of view)

That's a lot of money.my advice is: do your own decision.I think that ETH have a good special features and possibilities,Ethereum has a different programming language and have ahighly competent team of developers,but this is not absolute determinant of price,because of speculations&media-forums.There may be a reduction in price, but your question's answer is: how long can you hold your ETH? it's hard to give advice.In my opinion,it would be great to distribute risks.for example 55 % ETH , 25% BTC , and others IOTA,WAVES,DASH....
