I have 2 questions:
1) Do a Slack/discord exist?
2) Why do the build script ask me to use sudo?(When no other zcash fork ask for it? )
3) is there any node lsit anywhere?

Now we just at the very beginning. As soon as VOT reach 10k $ daily volume it could be found at coinmarketcap

If you're running your pool, please set your Hex identification so the block explorer could identify you.
In z-nomp software,  you can edit transactions.js, find the line where z-nomp sets its hash, and change it to yours.
To generate your hash, you can use this online tool:
http://string-functions.com/string-hex.aspx
Best format of your string is: YourPoolName http://yourPoolAddress.com/

When you're ready, send us PERSONAL MESSAGE through this forum with block ID of your newest mined block.
It can be for example URL like this:
http://explorer.votecoin.site/block/000000314e0d7ede4155bc8d138d3a38f8e56b289d516bc3eb8cf7343adcfef5

We will update our block explorer to list your pool (including hyperlink) on each block you mine.

BTW bitcoinz - also zec fork, started at 9sep,  with 12500 block reward already 90+sat.
So VOT need at least 9k sat price to show same results.

My recommendation is to remove ICO from thread, it's not relevant already and put everything about mining here on first page, as any other coin in ANN thread have. To have everything in one place - mining info, pools, block explorer, exchanges.

  • Remove "ICO" from thread name
  • Add roadmap
  • Describe detail key features
  • Structure info about pools, exchanges etc.
