Well, I want to say, that the ICO was to early. First dev team should made a wallet with VOTE function, then start the ICO. Now the coin is 25-30 sats. So it was too early.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

agree, there are also many problems, but i see this coin rising slowly after devs will finish there work

There is a problem to start Votecoin GUI wallet with the existing wallet (works perfectly with CLI wallet). At first I started GUI wallet and waited until full sync. Than I shutted down GUI wallet and replaced wallet.dat with my existing wallet. Status: Votecoin wallet is starting, please wait... And nothing happens several hours

A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

how can i store coins and make wallet back up. i am mining directly to tradesatoshi and i have acumulated huge amount, just want my coins to be safe Smiley any instructions?

I have VoteCoin-v1.0.13-Windows version and want to backup my wallet with some coins in it.

I only found wallet.dat in VoteCoin folder. I can't find password for this wallet. Did this version had a password, which I can't find ? README.txt ddin't mention password use.

To backup its only wallet.dat needed, nothing else and no password ? Thanks for help.

you can use CLI wallet and store it on your own computer, how-to should be on the 1st page of the topic.

Also yes, you can use TS wallet to mine.

i am starting thinking that there are only 2 or 3 devs behind this project and they dont beleive in there project. I am Documentary film director and when i have ideas, i can`t even sleep, working hard and gaining some results. but for votecoin i dont see that DRIVE

All of us dont look like each other and may be they have own speed. Anyway they are responsible for all member of the community which are believe them. Waiting and seen...

This coin looks interesting but only has low volume on one exchange. Is there an effort ongoing to increase the number of exchange listings? That is really the key to success.
