So I found this today and I really couldn't pass it up, however I have not bought it yet.

It's that discounted with it's codes + MIR + 3 games that are worth like 60 dollars retail each.
But I heard you cannot overclock/change the voltage on this card so I was wondering is it worth it (Im just starting out btw this is my first rig Im putting together) to get this bargain or just spend the extra 40 bucks for like a Sapphire card?

I heard these are loud as shit and run hot.

Would love peoples in put

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Maybe add $10 to that and get a Sapphire? this one has 5 star reviews and it's not a really big difference in price to justify the risk.

the 2L is better than the 3L and the 4L is better than the 3L. The 21196-00-20G & 100352-4L are almost identical.

In order.

1) 21196-00-20G -  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202031
2) 100352-4L      -   http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202030
3) 100352-2L      -   http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006
4) 100352-3L      -   http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026

Better to spend a little more to get one with better cooling:

I guess this is like the 3L but with the reference board. I do know vram is voltage locked on the 3L.

So I was debating, now that you all have spoken your peace.
Which of these two is the better deal for the money....

They both are reference board design, meaning that AMD made the board and are water cooling compatible, not sapphire board made, which is great.

They both are Watercooling compatible.

If you do not plan on water cooling, I'd suggest 11196-16-20G as it has better air cooling.

If you plan to go water cooling, go for the 100352-4L.

For me, it's a hard decision.

Yeah, I do not plan to water cool my card(s) but I want the best performance, so if you say the Sapphire, I guess it's that.

I'd go with the non reference designs.  They are going to run much cooler.

+1 for non-reference designs. I just hate having 1 fan on them.....
Not too bad a price IMO though...

Where did you hear that you can't OC Powercolor GPU's?

I heard of voltage locking. Never heard of OC locking for a 7970.
