Universa is great innovation but still doesn't meet the hard cap. This is investment into the future technology testnet showing how big this will be. I would like say this will give though time to ETH in future don't miss the chance to buy this at low price.

Universa came out with something new with more solutions for businesses using the protocol which moved more people to take advantage of the project made from scratch to build something which will matter really. I don't think it is good for you and your furure investments to judge like if Forbes sais it than I also think so. Try to decide for yourself 
Universa is a new blockchain technology it was developed as an original one and you already can assess the result on their testnet.. finally, it is you who gains or losses money, not Forbes..

I might have already asked about it here but does anybody know how to become Universa node? In wp it is stated that nodes will be somehow qualified thats why they will be trusted. Or at least does anyone know whether this info will be published till december,9 or no?

As far as I understand they have already collected a soft cap. The numbers on their website show clearly that the time when icos raised millions in several minutes is over. And thats good actually! Investors at least know what they are investing in now. And universa provides all the info that any legit project should. So just keep calm and move on

Heard that to be a node you need to hold a certain amount of tokens, the required hardware and pass a kind of kyc procedure. But they must announce it publicly when they decide in details i guess

but the attack of scammers can also be considered as a good sign. If there were no public interest scammers would not even mention it..

Well whatever) It must be difficult to confuse original project with any other copies. Universa has a solid team, ready technology and as we see here real love to what they are doing. Not mentioning that they support all theory with the launch of a testnet. That's what a worth investing project should look like

they dont need 99 mln hard cap. This is absurd. Look at Neo, Stratis... they raised 2.5 mln and very succesfull now.

It's true that 99 mln is not needed. It would just speed up development, because the team can hire more developers. If they raise (for instance) 20m, the project will be just as good, but it will take longer because less money is being spent on development, legal and marketing.

This is no problem, because there is more room for growth when projects have a small market cap.
