If with BlockNet a fully decentralized cryptocurrency exchange can be created, like the article states, then BLOCK might really have bright future ahead. In the meantime we can see rising from $3.97 to $7.44 in the last three days. Exchange is ready and running,devs are working on user interface right now. |

An update from the lead developer of The Blocknet:
"The service node code (aka masternode) has been ported, and we are currently refactoring the blocknet wallet to support that code and also include support for bip65 and bring the blocknet wallet up to par.
Also for the UI, the blocknet dx api is also being updated and should be ready tomorrow. I know its been quiet on the dev side but a lot of work behind the scene’s has been done (and visible in github)… Based on the current status, I think the July date for the “soft fork” is still valid, maybe 3rd week of July. The SPV work will start after mainnet launch."

Well, it looks like some people know about that and are waiting for it because the price of Blocknet is rising constantly, and not only in USD but in BTC too (over 6% in BTC in the last 24h). It's almost $8 now. Lucky are those who bought it at $0.05 four months ago. |

very good news
There is a soft fork in late July when we go "live" from test net to main net.
UI is being worked on.
Partnerships are being formed.
Marketing will be ramping up shortly.
The DX is already 100% working and you can trade BTC, LTC and SYS RIGHT NOW without a central exchange.
Stealth, Bay and hopefully Zcash following soon. Plus some others that that will be revealed in due course.
SPV integration (light wallets) so you don't have to download whole chains to trade will be implemented in the next few months.

Yeah smart money bought into this in March after it was delisted from Polo. After that it's just been neverending strong performance. It might reach $50 in the next few weeks, there's still not much volume traded yet (only $1.5MM today) |

BLOCKNET to the moon , 50 $ or 100 $ fake
Well, I dunno 'bout that. It's already worth $30, so I kind of regret I haven't bought it when the price was $4! Yet it's strange nobody stated what this magic technology is about. It is a simplification of bitcoin, it is quite like dash in anonymity, it offers some benefits for developers. I see nothing special here, no innovative projects here. I think it is just pumped by some investors and will eventually die after all this obsession. |
