What are those breakout boards on your 2400W PSU?  I've never seen those before.  They must be awkward with the 90 degree placement of the connector to the PCIe plugs.

@MingMining - did you power the molex also to make the board work? I have the first board with smOS Linux with 2 cards working last week, with molex and sata powered. I need to populate all 6 with P106 and experiment - will find time to try that this week. My boys did the 2 rigs in a rack setup - previous pix, and waiting for me to power up and install.

No I did not use molex to power my two cards testing. In fact, in my previous test, molex did not seem to work (that was in windows). In smOS, the first slot works right away so I did not bother to test moldex. But I only tested with two cards on first and fourth slot. The second slot did not seem to work either. Let me know how you finally make 6 work.

Some update on my testing on the onda D1800 six card mb:

Finally made two blower style 1070 working on this board. Cannot make it work on first two so I plug in one in the first and another in the fourth slot. While it is wide enough between each other, the first one has very high temp between 70 and 80. While I can tolerate the temp, the fans of both are at around 90% most of time. I do not feel comfortable at all for this scenario.

My conclusion: this mb may be great for some low heat cards. Even for 1070 it is not the best idea to put 6 gpu on it.

Looking forward to the colorful board review! I had a heart attack last night, my entire remote farm went down. Called the internet company this morning and they reset something on their end. Huge relief that everything is up again lol. If not I have to take a flight.

LOL - my group's GPU farm is in a warehouse 15mins drive my house. But all ASICs are at Labrador, NFL-Canada.

Teamviewer, VPN, CCTV, Big Digital temps and decibel meters and SRR -- are mandatory for remote monitoring, access and control.

Of course, the cellphones of the onsite engineers at Labrador is good to have too 

team-viewer over Tight VNC ? , team viewer always seems slow to me , why do you need Decibel meters ?

It will run 6x 1070 blower style cards with zero issues  at 60%  tdp  = my best guess

that is only around 700 watts.  should not be an issue at all.

I know eth + sia dual at 90 %   tdp                                                    =           a no go     my next best guess.

that  would be 1000 watts

Closely following the thread. as I will get 3XOnda 1800D MBs this following week. And I am planning to use GTX 1070 on these MBs. Let's see how it will go.
Need suggestions from members about the make and model of GTX 1070 depending upon spacing and wattage.

Maybe Asus Turbo 1070? The blower style card might be better for this setup. Also because Asus turbos tend to be cheaper.

 ASUS 1070 turbo has marginal cooling to start with - and gets VERY unhappy if the blower opening is blocked at all.
 It gets a LITTLE better if you remove the metal mounting bracket, but is still pretty hot running.

 Their 1080ti might work better, as it doesn't have a DVI connector blocking HALF the output airflow area and seems to be better about low-restriction on the metal mounting bracket as well.

 Seems like that one specific ASUS 1080ti model is the ONLY GTX 10xx series card (except for the various "mining 1060 models and perhaps some of the low-end 1050ti and below stuff) that skips the DVI connector for better cooling.

I personally have not been impressed with any of ASUS's video card designs over the last 3-5 years now.  They should just stop already....  My 4G turbo 960 is slower than my 2G EVGA 960 SSC...   the cooler designs are pure garbage....   flimsy designs as well.

I own both, both works well, I guess Ledger Nano S is more usable like a cold storage and Trezor is more usable for daily usage.

TVNC for intranet specifically for Windows workstations (mostly NVIDIA rigs and one AMD rig)

smOS Linux for all AMD rigs - good enough for central management for all the AMD rigs.

Through the IP-CCTV (4 cams), I have visuals on temps (4 locations in the warehouse) and also decibel meter.

During hot days - the Deltas will crank up her fans -- total 9 rigs using TB250/12slots and H110/13slots use Deltas.

When all Deltas screaming to combined decibel up to 110db (peacetime 75-77db) -- temps usually hits 37-38c - which is too high for my comfort.

When this scenario happens, I would be at Severity 2 mode and would make a trip to warehouse and temporarily turn on the additional air extractor.

Yeah, but with the cards so close together, powerful fans are needed if standard 2 fan, 2 slot gpus are used. Blower fans at least move the heat away.

Yes, I have a wifi enabled plug that I can pair it with this guy - so I can remotely turn on this beast - but this thing is attached to that orange hose and I can move it around to wherever most heat is generated which is near the dense rig zone, where all the TB250 & H110 are located - I have not got round to do that yet but that they best way to go about it.

Attaching this to a temp sensor and automatically turn on and off will be ideal...

I think it is less then 1000 watts.

Yeah that sucks (no pun intended), doesn't it, essentially the power of an entire rig going into... well, hot air. Especially when profitability goes lower and lower.

This contraption has its own 20A circuit.

It shares the circuit with 3 industrial fan blowing out towards the windows.

Building rules prohibits me from modifying the window and install barn fans...

It eats 520watts and can suck 65 metre square of air volume per minute.

Its currently turned off and will in good use when its needed on hot days.

The warehouse has 63Amps/3-Phase 220-240v power so my electrician says I can play with 3 x 63amp = 189amps - less 10-20% for safety buffer.

So 150amps divide by 5amps (6xGPU-rig) or about 8amps for the 12-13xGPU rigs = 30 rigs (6xGPU-rigs) or 18 x 12-13xGPU-rigs.
