It surprised me to see all you guys going to btg. I'm not really against it I just read some really shady propaganda about it. What do I know. Follow the money.

Whats not to love..... exact copy of BTC Segwit but with Equihash POW.

I bet there are more mining GPUs than Antminers out there, so it sounds like mining power back to the little guys.

With ETH going POS, BTG is probably the best thing since slice bread for GPU miners.

...IF the coin value is 1) high enough and 2) stays high or goes higher. If not, this will die a thousand deaths.
I've seen more bad press and FUD about BTG than anything else. I'm ready to jump on the mining bandwagon with all my rigs... but time will tell whether it'll actually be profitable at all.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I am ready to start  when the exchange gives an address.
I am switch in 1 minute once I get address from the exchange.

I am going to mine to an exchange

 https://www.binance.com/

I put a small amount of btc into the exchange and I  used it to buy some  btg  I purchased at 0.19  and it is up higher like 0.24

any particular reason for binance? i just opened an account there mainly because i am following your lead on this and will get a btg addy ready for mining Smiley

I signed up for Binance from Day 1 mainly due to my long term hold of NEO and their GAS dividend distribution.

Their CEO & Founder is Chinese but had the wisdom to setup shop in Korea due to China Govt meddling.

If you havent used their customer services yet - you will be surprised - fast response - unheard of actually - the other exchanges are so slow -- maybe since their new, workload is manageable.

Personally, compared to the other exchanges that I am using (Bittrex, Poloniex, Coinbase/GDAX...) - Binance trading platform is super fast. Once you get used to the interface - its quite intuitive and simple. It also adopts a vote system for any new coins which is good so that we dont end up with a million coins cluttering the exchange.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Apparently Onda just made a new revision for 8 GPU board .

6 pin power instead of Sata and Molex , 8 PIN CPU  and fixed the 24 pin issue .

Still they need to drop the 24 pin  Mobo and 8 pin CPU and install cheap CPU .

All server PSU format like the Colorful boards will be ideal.

However for existing  riser builds with ATX power, this board is a good upgrade even with PICO kit.

Where is this selling?

Got my 4th card arriving today, a Vega 56, looking forward to having a play around with it. Seems like they the best time to ROI at the moment if you can get 1800h/s out of them with monero. Would prefer to get this hashrate through Nicehash as a small timer I like to get paid in BTC. Any idea on how to manage this?

this is a good design.  if you want to do ATX or server it will work.
dropping the 24 pin and dumping the 8 pin is not needed.

a pico will only drive the 24 pin and the 8 pin /  you can drive a shit  cpu even a i5 6400t with only 4 pins to the left side or the right side of the eight pin.
you can do  up to a 16 gb stick of ram

And if you want you can use an atx to drive it which would allow you to use the cpu for a cpu coin.

this may be better then the ten I have on order.  but I got ten for 1422 usd shipped to usa and the ones I have allow for up to 12 boards.

btw I just got an 8th 1070 hooked up to it today.

you can see about 800 watts for 3220 sols

My psu is a 1000 watt corsair rm1000x so if you are willing to do lower watts  you can use a 1000 watt psu

MUCH better layout. yeah drop the 24 pin (not worried about the 8 pin cpu). and i actually like the open cpu socket, gives it better options imo. low power "T" processor, or cheapest celeron, or even go with an i7 for cpu mining maybe.

On the topic of risers... Which ones (type/generation) are you guys considering the best? I have swapped out a couple lately (fried / flimsy / etc) and have run out of spares. Looking to buy a few more to have stock whenever the next one craps out...

Just point whatever miner you are using at the Nicehash monero pool(s).

cpu socket is golden.  cheap used i5 6400 t's are easy on eBay  as low as 110 usd.

the 24 pin where it is located is fine

the 8 pin is a 4 pin/as long as you don't cpu mine

this is a good board if they price it lower then the m12   8 slot + 4 riser board I ordered ten of.
So far the eight slot test is golden  I pushed power to about 850 watts

Where is this selling?

seller from Alibaba  as always , seller is pricing it for 128$ per unit for  10 units without shipping  .

Another dude quoted me 139$ per unit for 10 units without shipping for the board below including  Intel 3855U Skylake which is too good to be true , problem is that i dont know any of those sellers and dont trust them .

Supposedly the BTG testnet is going to have a reset on Nov 8'th, so I don't think we'll see it go live for regular mining for at least a few days after that. Just keep an eye on these forums and Twitter etc...

So if they go live on November 8th, then that would be the amount of BTG we get from our current BTC balances or did that already happen and they are just mining BTG now themselves as part of the premine?

BTG is such a shitshow it really turns me off from their algo switch.

okay that board with the celeron is priced far too low the cpu is about 107 direct from intel

https://ark.intel.com/products/92211/Intel-Celeron-Processor-3855U-2M-Cache-1_60-GHz

I would avoid that seller.

the onda m12 I got is a good board
the onda  m6   six slot is also good board

both want the atx style and call for the 3 molex 3 sata.

my guess is the onda 8 slot is good  you should use paypal and order 1 sample  that is what I did with my onda's

if it works well  then decide if you want 10
