There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

DeepOnion is basically a vehicle for the "dev" to get rich, it's a copy pasta of Bitcoin Plus with 0 new code developed.

Whenever the price goes up, you can expect the "dev" to sell some of his holdings. If you observe the trades on nova, whenever DeepOnion goes up, there's a single big dump from someone with seemingly unlimited coins to sell.

He's probably $500,000 richer already looking at the trades on nova.

Very few were lucky to make the profit through the altcoins, because the pump and dumping happens in unexpected time. Last week the price pumping deep onion was felt above 300% and the same coin experiencing a price fall in a small time period is based on the market circulation and such a big dump is not a healthy way of growing.

LOL... it's quite funny when a coin has a sudden spike and comes back to it's floor everyone comes out of the woodwork and declares the coin dead.  Show me a coin that hasn't done this, that hasn't had at least one spike in price with a correction just a few days later.  And remember, even the price of $2 USD is pretty respectable and the project isn't even 25% done.

There are two reasons of it going down. 1. some airdrops cashing out, 2. Illiquid market on an illiquid exchange, where crashing the price is extremely easy. That is all, shut up and hodl

Don't believe so, volume is very low, and majority, probably, from miners selling their coins, because miners need to sell.

If they want to make bank they need to make the project somewhat successful, they have millions of coins to cash out.

the reason that price of Onion going down fast is not the dev selling it, just because a lot of people who already got airdrop coin in previous rounds but they are blacklisted this week, so they just break up the rule that can't sell more than 10%. But these selling is nothing, there are more and more people participating the Onion, and the price will go up soon and very fast and refresh the record time by time.

That would be such a threatening situation on most of the holders right now,and when supply was more I think it's not a good way to hold it due to less demand on buys. Air drops is just a free coins to collect and be traded quickly like selling it directly to the marketplace, worst case now is nobody is getting interested with deeponion due to it's market cap isn't that progressive. If I were that airdrop coins holders, its better to dump those coins immediately after it's listed on the exchanger because more airdrop collectors were really selling their collected amounts, that's why price is getting lower. It's like a saying that "stike while while the iron is hot" same as what's happening now, if you see the coins is dying; well you can sell it immediately in order to save it and take your break even profit.

I think right now it is trading on just one exchange where spread is just too much and so there may be some sharp changes in prices.

Even if it is premined, 70% will be distributed to the community plus 20% will be distributed as bounties, etc.; so, at the end, developers will be having only 10% or so.  With other exchanges coming up with DeepOnions, more interest in the coin will come and so lesser spread.
