I see. It seems PoS is working alright for most of the people here, so it's just my problem, maybe too few coins Sad

POS difficulty is now quite high so few coins are much less likely now to find a block.

Exchanges need to lower there rate's to list a  coin I could see them asking for 2 BTC a year ago when it was worth $200-400 but not now at 4K. To list on a good Exchange is just crazy now  the coin Exchanges need to rethink what there charging .  See they want us to keep .01 BTC in are wallets now just to use the troll box or vote on a new coin listing

No it's no wonder why most coin's get dumped on as soon as they get listed who can afforded to list there coin on anything other than a small exchange that have hardly any buyer's on them these day's.

But I can't see anyone mining any coin and turning around and dump it  for less money than it cost you to mine it that's called not using your brain

On the bright side if it is every listed on a mainstream exchange it's a big vote of confidence in the coin, as someone invested a decent amount in it.

I think POS algo can be revised.
So all accounts can have stakes an it limit looking at ip number.
Big holders have a limit also of coin.

Well, since ETH and ZEC do not look in great shape, I decided to point my hardware to this. With a 1080 Ti +1070, Klaust ccminer works great and gives me 2.5 MH/s at 80% power. Looking forward to the whole staking thing, never did anything like that, but my understanding is that I need to wait at least 24 hours till the coins "mature". Looks like a promising project, but then again this is crypto so anything can and does happen...

BTW, what can a fairly "normie" (no real programming skills, etc) guy do to support the project?

Looking forward for developments, cheers!

So, keeping the coins in the wallet for a day and the wallet open would start my POS? or do I need to do something?

no pos coins are automatic, just keep the wallet open all the time

You need to add config file from first post.

why? my pos is working without the config file

I see someone sucked up the courage and steeled their resolve to take the leap today.

Sold 72 TZC at 100 SAT.

I can only imagine what they might have in mind for that 27 cents.

I did but from 2 days received nothing
You wil not receive anything as far as many millions of coins were divided amoung auction participants and now they all POS. So our thousands of coins have no chance agains millions as far as "weight" growth is limited by 16days. So POS is not for us.

This is a major breakthrough. Getting out the door something that has had no duplicate in the history of a technological evolution is a rare trait in these murky waters. Despite u have not yet collaborated with wells fargo along 13 other banks, I will request US public attorney to tell jamie dimon about ur coin. 30 billion market cap guaranteed.

Weight is the summ of all inputs calculated weight, it's basically your hashrate for pos. For each input it's "number of coins in an input" x coinage (Starts after 1day)

Man there 60million coins that are being auction and its probably been staking since there released so your 25k means nothing to the whales or better yet buy more coins.

I read, staking enabled for 11 inputs weighing 2341 coin days

this means your already staking but your against to someone with millions coins so it would take days before you hit POS block or maybe weeks?

1) Read carefully what I wrote in previous post. Your and others having thousands of coins chances are miserable.
2) That means that you have to finetune your settings. Because I've received POS yesterday morning. And while having only 4K of coins now I get 19 inputs 8868 coindays. But as i said it won't help me or anybody else with +/- the same stack to get POS block.

They have advantages but with the growing weight, you will get POS result in time.
The auction only raised 25BTC, people could get a good number of TZC for $100

PoW is also only for rich people who invest in mining machines with 12 gpus or more.
People who invest get more. But also lose more if it goes the other way

I had 12 GPU's working for the first 4-5 days.  I have 10,000 coins to show for it and at today's last sale price, it is worth about 38 bucks.

Yep, that 4 grand in GPU's has just made me filthy rich on this.

But, one never knows.  The story has it that someone spend 10,000 BTC on two Papa John's pizzas in 2010...  so, maybe at 38.00 I am doing OK.

I can tell you this.  Without an exchange, that 38.00 is likely to just sublimate into the air.
