Since I've only gotten "Geek life" words of wisdom so far, I have added tiered wisdom rewards according to category. Cryptocurrency (3000 CWIS reward) Computers (2000 CWIS reward) Internet (2000 CWIS reward) Geek life (1000 CWIS reward) Other technology related (1000 CWIS reward) Post your words of wisdom here -> http://cwiscoin.com/wisdom.php

If you are wanting to mine CWIS at http://pool.madbyte.com:8080/ then you should probably use port 3681 as it is vardiff. stratum+tcp://pool.madbyte.com:3681

Are there any news on the exchanges? I think this project could be very good, if the people will get the chance to trade the coins easily and have a "fixed" value for each coin - it's somewhat crucial so two people can agree on a deal.

The plan is to get it on Novaexchange at first. Will take a little while to get funds together for this... see http://cwiscoin.com/novafund.php

Too bad Madpool isn't paying out yet. Last payout was 5 hours ago and you can't check your miners wallet there :/

"Block maturity: 100 confirmations" isn't that too much anyways?

Well, it's the same maturity confirmations as bitcoin. I know other coins are a lot less, but having that value high means it's less prone to blockchain issues. Don't worry, you'll get your mined coins eventually.

I only get 136.243.89.142:4233 Disconnected. Authorization failed. if I try to mine on nicehash. I set d=8 as my password Okay, 4233 is the wrong portm 4233 is neoscrypt, scrypt is 3433

OneFear, how much hash power are you planning to rent at nicehash? Your hash power will determine what difficulty value you should be using.

Recently, Buterin, the creator of the etherium, said that he would change the algorithm and that the mines would not be needed. Do you have any fears about this?

That is only for the ethereum blockchain, has nothing to do with other coins. My coin is currently scrypt PoW and that's how it will stay for now.
