It's been open for pre-mining with CPU only for about 2 weeks now by people that knew about it.  I chose not to do the official coin announcement until today, but the website and info about the coin has been up for a month already.

Still new to this mining thing. As you said that the coins are available to mine using CPU, will it possible to do it in laptop?
Also will it affect the usability of the laptop while doing mining.

You won't be able to mine via CPU anymore now that the ASIC pool is open.   

You can try but probably won't get anything... just open your wallet, open debug console, then type "setgenerate true".  That will start your CPU mining. 

Also, doing CPU will slow down your laptop a lot.

Any CWIS coins sent to the 2 burn addresses can never ever be accessed... they are essentially lost in the system.   Why would I send coins to be burned?   Because of the large premine, I will continue to slowly burn coins at intervals if there is not enough being given out as rewards in a certain period.
