Hey guys,
i have a special question regarding BFL refunds.
First of all englisch is not my native language, but i guess you will understand what i want to say.

As many other ppl here, i ordered an asic from BFL in May 2013.
With the current speed of shipping it would take several months until it will be sent, so i decided to cancel my ordner.
I ordered via Paypal with a Mastercard CC.
I requested a refund via Mastercard. 2 days Later Paypal notified me that Mastercard wants to get the money back and opened a conflict and wrote me and BFL an Email.
Until yesterday the status was "Waiting on an answer from BFL".
I thought I will be getting my money back in another 2 or 3 days but yesterday i received an email from BFL...

Dear <me>,

Thank you for your order from Butterfly Labs! Your order (<order #>) was shipped via USPS, USPS Priority Mail Int'l on 9/10/2013.  You can track your package at any time using the link below.

Shipped To:
<my name>
<my street>
<my town>

Track Your Shipment: <tracking id>
This shipment includes the following items:

Item #   Description   Qty
BF0050G   50 GH/s Bitcoin Miner   1

Thank you for your business and we look forward to serving you in the future!"

My first though was "wtf?". According to Jodys Blog it takes months until my order should have been shipped.
So looks like they priorized my order because Paypal asked them for a shipping number.
With the current difficulty i dont want that thing anymore, I just want my money back.
Nonetheless I requested a refund directly via BFL (of course they didnt want to refund) before they shipped.
So, if I deny the delivery, it will be sent back to them and I should be getting my money back, because i wanted a refund BEFORE they shipped it.
I just wanted to share my story because it seems that they will priorize orders. I just want my money back, what would you advice me to do?

Thanks
Greetings

Would you consider selling it?

Interesting, I am about to request a refund for my BFL order, I also would prefer the cash than an early shipment, these devices will not break even, BFL should offer a refund to all waiting customers.

Yes if I cant get the money back I will sell it.

But i canceled my ordner before they shipped it, so actually i dont have to accept the package and insist on my money, right?

I think you'll be opening a big can of pain and suffering if you refuse the shipment and then try to get your money back. BFL will muddle things up for weeks and in the end, you'll likely have neither the rig, nor your money.
