ospool still not working. Just saw my balance drop from 600 to 33... (and no, it was not paid out).

EDIT:  nvm, it is back.

hey,

I was just wondering what is the reasoning behind having an infinite number of coins?

Thanks!
Where do you see this? COLX should have a max of 11 billion coins, most of them swapping from CV2 to COLX

On the first Ann page:

Block Reward:
Blocks 2 - 151,200: 2500 COLX
Blocks 151,201 - 302,399: 1250 COLX
Blocks 302,400 - Infinite:  1000 COLX
Proof of Stake Schedule:  5% to proposals for all phases
95% distributed to stake wallet and master node

So if this coinswap goes live, where do these coins come from that you are swapping into? That should be billions of coins right? I'm really confused about all this

Yeah me too.. Why mine when it is a proof of stake? Where is the explorer? So that we could see the wallets, who's holding big amounts and etc.

Can you write a few informations about your hardware? I think we are enough miners here and it should be no problem to give you help. Are you on ASIC, Nvidia or AMD?

I am Nvdia GPU (gtx460), AMD CPU (1055t x6). Wanted to try mining COLX so what do you think. Should I go with cpu or gpu, not looking for crazy ammounts of hashrate, would do it just to try if it would be pofitable.

Is there anyone that can tell a little more about the coinswap? The technicals behind it? Is there a wallet preloaded that has coins that can be used in the swap by Nova? How else would I be able to convert millions of CV2 to COLX?

I believe almost all of the 11 billion COLX was premined. That's why they're focusing more on Staking/Masternode payouts rather than mining. Once the swap is over, I think they'll be burning the rest of the supply that doesn't get swapped. So if only 6 Billion CV2 get swapped, that means the new supply for COLX will be 3 Billion. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but that's my basic understanding of it after reading through the different threads on this.
