It takes a while the first time a new wallet is installed...

1. Back up wallet.dat file [important!] and save it somewhere else than in the ColossusCoinXT folder

2. Delete all files except wallet.dat, masternode.conf and ColossusCoinXT.conf in your UserAppData\Roaming\ColossusCoinXT Folder

Once You re-open the wallet it started to sync again at 0%.
4. Start client and let it fully re-download the block chain

Hello Guys, I have googled a lot but cannot find it.
I brought my COLX to a paper wallet. Now I want it back online. I downloaded the COLX desktop wallet, but how on earth do I import my wallet?
Could anybody help or tell me where the explanation is?

People who are rookies like me, who cant seem to open their .dat file (wallet), read on.


I am a complete rookie to crypto's but had a simular issue, i reinstalled my wallet but couldnt figure out how to open my saved .dat file.

What i figured out is that the wallet reads from a location (in my case) the C: drive.
What i did is find the 'original' .dat wallet file when you clean install the colx wallet, then i replaced the .dat files and i were able to acces my coins again.

Again, im a complete rookie, your problem might be hell of a lot more complicated.

Yes, it's paid for now through the great team crowdfunding campaign, 2.2 Bitcoins, so as soon as the Cryptopia Admin/Devs can add it... could be tomorrow in theory... but as it's now New Year, I'd guess sometime early in January when they back working again after the holidays...   (y)

'No Blocksource Available' walk through the following steps to add the blocksource...  That should resolve the issue...

COLX is the very latest POS3.0 = 'Proof of Stake' Coin ...so you ideally want to download the wallet software and hold the coins on your local machine and then 'Stake' them to receive the staking rewards...

If they are just sat on an exchange, or in cold storage, then you completely miss out on this great feature altogether!
