Many other stores do not accept bitcoins. Especially now it's too high for a fee when you're sending other wallets. So other people would probably like to fiat money to accept it. But others who accept it as in the USA have some restourant here who accept bitcoins. Many really do not know. Hopefully the bitcoins fee is fixed and we'll be able to get it back in time to be totally hassle free.

Is it just me?

Save using gift cards, or the rate app portal, I basically have no choice but to use a bitcoin debit card if I actually want to spend my BTC. I have never actually seen a real store that actually accepts bitcoin. At least a brick and mortar. I live in NC, near the SC border. save the Research Triangle, bitcoin is still absolutely unknown in these parts. Is it better in more metropolitan areas, or is this pretty much the case across the whole US?

if you want to use bitcoin in local store, You have to wait for a while because even if you live in big city, there are not always local store accepting bitcoin. the solution for you is you need to exchange your bitcoin with local seller in localbitcoin or else so you can have the money to buy something. for me, i think what i am suggesting to you is the best solution right now as we don't have any option to buy something with our bitcoin and only use it in online sites.

I just feel the hassle when using bitcoin is not accepted yet nor no merchants. But let's just hope in the near future merchants will be happen that would easy to use bitcoin as payments. If this would happen it will add more users to the bitcoin community.

I must say that I have used bitcoin only for online purchases in the past.
And I have even stopped that.
When I look at the increasing price, I always feel like I'm burning money if I am using my bitcoins as a form of payment.
And I am sure many other people feel the same.
Maybe that is the reason why it's hard to find places that accept bitcoins: Nobody uses them anymore. They are just too valuable.

For now I don't feel hassle of using bitcoin in my everyday life. Maybe the hassle when I did not grab the chance to buy when the price is cheap. Even planning to use bitcoin in any stores there is no one to find in my country. Instead saving btc would be the best in my everyday life.

There are many hassle of using Bitcoin in my everyday life. In our country Bitcoin is not acceptable everywhere.Government don't give permission to use Bitcoin. On the other hand most of the people of our country are not aware of Bitcoin. There are not to many shops or super markets who take Bitcoin as money. There is only one way to spent Bitcoin and it is to exchange your Bitcoin into cash and spent it.It is not acceptable as to everyday payment like buying necessary things ,pay electricity bill or taxi rent.

That's really annoying when you can't use it the way it should be, lucky for me cause even bitcoin isn't available to use paying groceries or restaurant our local exchange allow us to pay our bills so its convenient for me to use bitcoin so I don't need to fall in line and being hassled but just a click away and everything are settled.
I also want to experience buying my stuff in satoshis but there are no signs of it happening for at least 2 years. Every cloud has a silver lining and if my bitcoins are not being used at the moment, in future when its value will be so high, I will be able to buy more things in less BTCs.

Yes it is true that it is not usable as it should be. If someone want to buy something, it is not easy for him to pay from his bitcoin wallet until it is common in the whole world. Why it is so, because of the bad management I think so. I also want to buy more bitcoin but there is no specific place from where I can buy it so in the future I earned more and more money while selling my bitcoin.

Definitely is a hassle and a bit of a learning curve about it all. I just use mine as investment and don't look to spend it, eventually I guess I will either reinvest or just cash it in.

Is it just me?

Save using gift cards, or the rate app portal, I basically have no choice but to use a bteeitcoin debit card if I actually want to spend my BTC. I have never actually seen a real store that actually accepts bitcoin. At least a brick and mortar. I live in NC, near the SC border. save the Research Triangle, bitcoin is still absolutely unknown in these parts. Is it better in more metropolitan areas, or is this pretty much the case across the whole US?

maybe it just you, i dont think bitcoin is a hassel. some countries like russia has now a wide range of stores and establishments that accepts bitcoin also they had an bitcoin atm. also on our  contry the some banks now aproved bitcoin to be legalize and recognized as a  payment system. bitcoin is now widely spreading worldwide and maybe the your in a country that bitcoin is prohibited or illegal?

Just a small percentage of all stores accept bitcoin.
Of course it's more of a hassle paying with btc than with cash, or with your atm card.

I'm pretty sure it's not just him.

Maybe because Bitcoin is a digital money so you can really uses it hassle free when you are using an internet but it will eventually be accepted in the near future for many branches of businesses in the world just wait that time to come. But for now you can use some website that sells what you want to buy in real life, as everything almost become digitalize.

it would be better to start saving with bitcoin from now on because it will be very profitable in the future, though by holding bitcoin in purse for 2 years time you can already get big advantage from bitcoin.

yes I myself do admit it is not too much, store stores that provide payment by using bitcoin, maybe not in your own region, in my region also there is no store payment provider using bitcoin, most bitcoin for online payment ,, my suggestion do you need to go to the metropolitan city to get a store service that serves payments using bitcoins.
Yes I agree that not all people have the same opportunity in using Bitcoin as a mode of transaction on a daily basis. Because there are differences on the fact that there are specific regulation each countries and region of the world. For me the number one thing to consider on using Bitcoin as a form of transaction it is price. People that would likely want to earn may hesitate on dealing with daily transaction becasue they think more on investing and holding for them to earn more.

we're still in the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, there just a few merchant in the world that accept it as a payment method, thought because it's still not promising to provide this services. I've never use a bitcoin debit card , but it can be used to local bank ATM, I think I will try it. But still, there still about 3% or less users of crypto currency in this world. And thats why I've said that we're still in the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency.

Yup that's totally right. I've tried to buy stuff more than once online and in real life using bitcoins but failed to find a legit shop that accepts crypto.
I guess it still has a lot to do until it's worth trying to use it.

The only thing I successfully bought was some amazon and psn gift cards from some websites. They accepted btc and ltc.
Not that much people know about crypto where I live so we can easily say that there's many years ahead of us for crypto to become how we want it to be.

I find it ironic that you guys in a very developed country like USA are finding it hard in dealing with Bitcoin. And amazingly, here in my country things are getting better and better though we still do not have many merchants dealing with Bitcoin we can easily convert our Bitcoin into cash anytime and there are already many ways in placed for us to receive the money fast.

Well, your experience can be the big reason why many Bitcoin holders would prefer to just hold it like an investment or an asset rather than use it in everyday transactions. It would still take many years before we can an explosion of merchants especially those who are just around the corner to accept Bitcoin as it is now more of a speculative tool or something to invest with because we are anticipating for the value to  rise fast.

he's right, bitcoin might be still unknown to others , the users of bitcoin are still difficult to find a merchan that accepting bitcoin, and how to cash out it quickly. that's why users are prefer to just hold it as an asset, than use it in everyday transaction.

I don't think it is a smart decision to use bitcoin for everyday life because if we will use it like a regular money then we are losing the chance to make a lot of money in the future because the price of bitcoin is not stable and it might go up in the near future so if you are going to just spend it for daily basis activities then you are losing the chance and opportunity.

in my country bitcoin / alcoin is not a choice here. all of them use conventional money. not many companies developers use bitcoin as a means of payment, and it gives bad effects for bitcoin users, because it will have complexity in terms of transactions and reduce bitcoin / alcoin effectiveness as global currency.
