Laptop:
ASUS ROG Strix
16GB Ram, Intel I7
Nvidia GTX 1070, 8GB VRAM

Phone:
iPhone 5se - 11.2.1 (Version)

Browser:
Chrome

The idea behind this project seems very interesting. Up till now, I found it rather unfair that those with impressive mining rigs have more than a proportional chance to receive shares / coins.

I personally believe that this project will go places, due to the innovative idea proposed. Using web browsers / phones to mine will revolutionize the crypto world!  Smiley

TO THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED RESPONSES HERE BUT STILL NOT IN MINING:

The second wave of miners will be allowed in sometime in the upcoming few days. The Hadron team is hard at work addressing some issues found during the initial wave of miners. If you have gotten a response on this thread, keep your eyes open this weekend, you may be allowed in to start mining.

Hi. I would like to participate in mining also.
I have the following devices:

laptop 1
-------
CPU: i5  GPU:GTX 960m with latest proprietary driver
OS: KDE Neon which is based on Ubuntu 16.04
Kernel: 4.9 - Official supported is 4.04.something but I jumped to 4.9 on my own
updated everday
Favorite browser is FF

laptop 2
---------
Old dell model with integrated graphics
everything else the same except I stuck with official kernel and it's dual boot with Windows 8 with all the win 10 forced rape upgrade blocked

Primary phone
----------------
OnePlus2 model ONE A2005
Android version 6.0.1
updated daily

Primary tablet
----------------
Galaxy tab A 8"
Android version 7.1.1
Model number SM-T350
updated daily

others
-------
I have an Nokia N9 and a HTC M7 gathering dust in the closet
We can just ignore those

I will not make my account until tomorrow but I have it bookmarked and plan to.

Questions:
1) Running a hashing algorithm is different from running an AI computation or share of a computation from what I'm understanding so are you saying that you can throttle this in a way that keeps our mobile devices from overheating and using up lots of data? Or is this why you are having an alpha and a beta so you can figure out all of this throttling and sharing?
2) (Please keep in mind that you are smarter than me)
Are you going to have a priest with Holy water blessing this AI and Elon Musk's blessing with a thumbs up at the opening ceremony promising to GOD that we are not creating Skynet?
I'm kinda worried. LOL

Hi aironeous. Firstly, your devices are all fine for mining. You didn't list a browser for your phones?

And regarding your second question: if it would reassure you, we are not working on General AI. The sort of AI computations you'll be doing are 'narrow', meaning tailored to a specific application only. Skynet is nowhere to be found in Hadron!
