Next year is going to be huge for serious projects and there will be most of the markets at me all times high. Waves will be at over $50 by the end of next year. If we see investment plan to get this much profit still these markets are far more profitable to get all this is one or two years.

Pretty sure Waves will be well over $100 by the end of next year. It'll be better than Ethereum in every aspect at the end of Q4 2018.

Isn't it true that one can kinda 'cheat' the whole WCT airdrop thing? Simply get a bunch of WCT just before the airdrop, then receive the airdrop, then sell the WCT again and return to where you came from. Possible losses in the form of fees and slightly less favorable rates are probably compensated by the LiquiWaves. Or did I missed something?

I dont consider this behaviour cheating. If somebody wants to do this, he can do it. As the airdrops are distributed to WCT holders, they would be distributed to someone anyhow, so it doesnt really matter who is holding the coins when the airdrop happens. If the person who does this sells his WCT again right after the airdrop, there will be someone else taking his trade and therefore become the new owner.

If lots of people behave this way, it would only result with the price spiking before the airdrop, and dropping right after. So the exchange rate wouldn't only be slightly less favorable, actually there is a real risk pfoceding this way and only the few fastest people moght manage to get an acceptable rate.

There'll be more airdrops in the future. And they'll become more valuable as time goes on. So if someone bought in too late they could just keep holding. Definitely won't hurt to keep some WCT in your portfolio.

During the past summer all the alt dropped in term of btc value but recover soon his € value cuz BTC increase. Now i think that many of this alt dont go back to that BTC value but increase in € so i would like to understand when is the time to enter in WAVE, not for gain € but for gain satoshi.

Some one know if is already active the exchange mobile app, if not when this will be launched?

Waves Platform expects mass blockchain adoption in 2018

[THE INTERVIEW] “Next year will be the year of open blockchain platform,” said Alexander Ivanov, founder and CEO of Waves Platform during a press conference in Seoul on Dec. 19.

Waves Platform is a decentralized blockchain platform aimed at making blockchain use easier for everyone.

“I expect mass adoption of the blockchain technology next year,” he added, as many players like Waves Platform are trying to make blockchain technology easy for those who “do not even understand the technology.”

Government authorities will also play an important role in pushing forward the mass adoption, according to Ivanov.

“Governments are not enemies but rather friends,” he told The Investor. “The market will grow faster when ordinary people can easily buy cryptocurrencies using their bank accounts and only regulators can make this happen. Regulators are actually the ones that will move the market forward.”

To grow within a regulatory framework, the company is in talks with many governments including Russia and Singapore and is also leading an initiative to create a self-regulatory body to set standards for initial coin offerings.

Waves Platform, Deloitte CIS, ICO Governance Foundation and Ethereum Competencies Centre are working together to come up with reporting, legal, tax and accounting, and business due diligence standards for ICOs and blockchain industry, the company said. The self-regulatory body will be established in Switzerland earlier next year.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Waves Platform said once its latest technology is unveiled on Dec. 22, the company’s platform will become the fastest blockchain technology.

For my part I'm not very impressed with this recent price run-up, as it occurred simultaneously with every other alt having a similar price bump. If anything, the comparative value is performing poorly, now down to 26th place. Considering the big news in Waves development, this is abysmal. No one is talking about Waves.

People should know Waves is the fastest blockchain with a built-in decentralized exchange. That's it, That's the message.That should be what everyone associates with Waves. Gimmicky giveaway's are just a distraction.

You have summarized the current situation of waves perfectly. Just look at the volumes, among the lowest of the first 30 coins of the market cap. We are probably still in a phase of accumulation, but this phase seems to last a little too long. Moreover, the market is very unstable so the last run-up is very fragile!
