Cryptocurrencies will continue to be relevant. The way Facebook unified and connected the world via social media, cryptocurrencies will be used to melt the frictions that arise from nation states. WE ARE at 1992 of the Internet revolution but with money.

That being said: the 90’s were dominated by Netscape, Yahoo, and AOL. 20 years later and Yahoo is the only one really still holding on (and honestly I’m not sure if I would take them or Macy’s as the company most likely to implode in the next 24 months).

Bitcoin, BCH, Ethereum, Ripple, Dash, Monero.

Atari, Commodore, Nintendo, Sega, Intellivision.

You don’t know which one will come out on top, but there is no way in hell the technology is not disruptive enough for one of them to evolve and dominate.

It’s important that the community also has an open mind and have good knowledge about cryptocurrencies. It’s one way to keep the community expanding.

Hello, This is my first post within the general forum area. I am happy to be a part of such an important community. I don't have to convince anyone here of the importance of Crypto-Currencies. I am curious what some people think about the future of these currencies. Do we consider them commodities? I am curious if Bitcoin/Litecoin/Namecoin/etc will ever be traded on an open market much like currency exchanges or NYSE. They are currently traded on an open market but the transfers are limited to payment systems that can be difficult. My question is this: Does anyone believe that Bitcoin will be traded on a massive level alongside other currencies like the Euro, U.S. Dollar, etc? If this happens than Bitcoin could likely become the worlds largest digital currency. However, until Bitcoin can be adapted to large-scale physical dollars or coins they will remain a digital currency. They are obviously much more secure than credit cards and financial market holdings. I hope that Bitcoin can become more of a liquid asset. That would change the game indefinitely. The more liquid the currency the more available it becomes and the transactions become easier. Anyways.... I appreciate anyone's insight into this matter as it will help me decide whether to invest in Bitcoin for the long haul. Thanks!

Some limitations that cryptocurrencies may encounter - such as the fact that a person's digital fortune can be erased by the destruction of a computer device, or a virtual vault that can be looted by hackers - can be overcome in the future through technological advances. What may be difficult to overcome is the basic paradox of cryptocurrencies - when it becomes more popular, regulation and government oversight will become increasingly tight, which could ultimately undermine the fundamental premise for the existence of cryptocurrencies.

in this modern and rising world, everything needs to be fast and optimize the convinient to all people to exist, so the born of cryptocurrencies is inevitable, cryptos will change the way we work online, we can trade and invest online, that is much more better than go to work in companies. and our privacy is also much better in cryptocurrencies because we use coins that anonymous to third parties.

CryptoCurrency future is so much bright i think.A cryptocurrency that aspires to become part of the mainstream financial system may have to satisfy widely divergent criteria.Crypto is a decentralized currency.

An insightful question, and even more pertinent now that everyone seems to be saying that the bubble will burst. But even if it does, will that mean the end of crypto? I think, not. We are too diversified and blockchain and tangle technology have too may applications to be broken that easily. Just take a look at what projects like AppCoins, Nucleus Vision and Naga are doing, and you will understand that our future lifestyles are well and truly meant to be run on decentralised platforms.

Indeed, the time has come where bitcoin is the most popular and valuable cryptocurrency where people from Wall Street to CME are investing their money into it. Bitcoin also reached another level where people are trading it on the same market with USD, Euro, and Pounds, e.g. Square cash and CME.

The future is bright, unless we don't meet scams. Everyone is looking towards 2018 and it is now started and hoping to see a lot of fun in rising Bitcoin. I too thought a lot of things to finish in 2018 and now it is the time ti grab everything. Most of the time we find here a lot of ICO's scams that will attack us.

According to me, in the future cryptos will gain widespread acceptance among the consumers. Huge section of technology-savvy individuals and companies have already started favoring the decision of using different form of encrypted currencies for transactions as they are safe, maintains privacy and the speed is fast.
Some of the cryptos can become mainstream currencies.
Their market value will increase. The cryptocurrencies will emerge which will give a healthy competition to the current pioneer Bitcoin.

The Future Of Cryptocurrency. A cryptocurrency is a digital currency that can b change to cash that is created and managed through the use of advanced encryption techniques known as cryptography. Cryptocurrency made the leap from being an academic concept to (virtual) reality with the creation of Bitcoin in 2009.

This was posted on the 23rd of May 2013 when the Bitcoin price was +/- $123 per bitcoin. If Mahonias Mavrostomos invested

back then, he would have made a total profit of $14 500 per bitcoin. That is about $3600 per bitcoin, per year. That is still

much higher than any other investment that I have ever done.  Grin

the future of the crypto currencies are not so good for all. But some of them which are going high in the market will rise more because at present time people are taking high interest in those crypto currencies which have high value in the market and high raising value. Like bitcoin have high value in the market. So like that those currencies have high value in the market at a present time will rise more in the future and their future will more brighten then today it is.

If all nations will just open their arms wide and embrace the blockchain technology, then these cryptos will be utilized to the fullest and may serve its purpose. Openmindedness is what these countries need so cryptocurrencies may have a brighter future.
