I would suggest: - 50% BTC
- 15% ETH
- 10% WAVES
- 25% Interesting ICOs
Good luck !!  The best suggestion that i want to do. I think this will be the effetive way that will fit with my knowledge, capital and my own preferences too. |

Keep majority on BTC, the rest split on strong altcoins like ETH, WAVES, NEO, and if u like doing research u can invest a bit on ICOs.

Let's take things one by one, you have 1000 dollar to invest, first things first:
Take that 1000
Divide it by 10
Now you have 100 x 10
100 x 10 is much better than 1000
Because now you can invest that 1000 in ten different places, and that's what you should do! Just invest hundred bucks on ICO's that you really like starting from today, make a research and see what might have potential value in the short or long term future. The reason you want to invest in ten different projects is diversification. You have much better chances to survive the long term if you invest in various projects, instead of putting everything (all your thousand dollars) in one coin. If that one coins goes down in value your entire 1000 value goes down with it, but if you invested in ten coins and four of them go down, you'll still have the other six which increased in value. You're kinda trying to balance things out that way.

If you want to looking for the best crypto to invest $1000 i can answer that Bitcoin is the best of choice that safe but it will just bring a little profitable. I think electroneum will be a gainer especially next year when some games start using it as form of payment. When this happens even highschoolers will be talking about cryptos in their game chat rooms

Buy bitcoin, that's the safest and most secured coin you can invest right now. Make it a habit also to read and research about the coins you want to invest in, of course people would want to ask opinion on others but at the end of the day it is still you who decides which coin to invest in, right?
I agree with you, bitcoin is the safest option but you can also invest in some alts for good returns. But first research thoroughly about the alt you want to invest in. |

I think people should buy ETC and ETH because the price of these two altcoin is really low and all long term investments in this altcoin will certainly be profitable. For me if you are not interested in price then 2 altcoin this is your first choice

You can try to buy waves coin and for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future once you buy waves coin. Because I believe this coin is a potential coin its look like ethereum the price is very low and after few years the price become hundreds of dollars price and I think it will happen to waves coin.
