2800W total...  BFL does 5 GH/s for about 30W, so 1000 GH/s would require 6kW.  That leaves -4.2kW to condense enough nitrogen to cool it.  Checks out!

Everyone knows thats how you cool things, put the energy being saved backwards through a heating element and then the liquid nitrogen, being so low temperature, turns the main ASIC into a superconductor negating loads of power draw. That's how it's really done. Wink
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I have to see it to believe it.  I don't really believe in news reports now.

Let's all agree this is a super SCAM, but let's say I have access to unlimited liquid Nitrogen (I do). How much of a performance gain on my Butterfly Single SC could be achieved by cooling the chips down to 100K? What are the concerns for the electronics?
-De-humidified chamber (reduce condensation on the electronics)
-Nitrogen Gas venting (reduce asphyxiation of the operator)
-Do you need to you need stabilize the board from vibrations? (I imagine normal room vibrations might crack the board or chips over sustained time at supercooled temperatures.

Imagining I can actually build a stable super-cooled setup... what are the potential performance gains?

Just look into cpu overclocking. You're still limited by locked clocks and unstable vrm. But I'm guessing 50% gain.
